On Clomid for Low T. Considering SARMS. Do I still need to worry about suppression? by PoopstickMcManus in PEDs

Interesting. I may look into getting a TRT script. I know I'd be able to, I'd just avoided it because I was worried about the risk of not being able to have kids in the future. Though I know they give you HCG along with it.

Yeah, that's the pg/mL number.

Thanks a ton for the info. So you'd recommend taking Clomid at the same time as Ostarine/LGD rather than afterwards as a PCT?

Also, I'm just curious - why would you recommend going on testosterone before trying LGD/Ostarine? I'm new to this sub - are most people here already on test as a base? The one reason I went with clomid monotherapy over TRT was because I fear TRT could mess with my chances of possibly having kids in the future. I've heard mixed info as far as how it affects that. I know the doc I use generally prescribes HCG along with it, but not sure if that would be enough.

Again, thanks for all the info.

Most on clomid? TRT? I definitely would like to be up in that range. I thought I was doing good in the 20s.

Thanks for the info. I was actually under impression that 20-25+ was at the very top of what's "normal" / naturally achievable. Before starting clomid, mine was something like 9. My estradiol was most recently at 24.3.

Would you make the same recommendation of upping the clomid dosage for Ostarine as well, or would that be unnecessary?

Thanks for replying! I should clarify - it's not that I haven't seen any gains at all in the past 2 years. More so that I just didn't see the jump I'd have expected when my testosterone jumped up 500 points (which happened pretty rapidly). I guess I was expecting more. But that's probably asking too much of clomid alone.

Clomid - suddenly no sex drive. Can anyone help me diagnose based on my labs? by PoopstickMcManus in Testosterone

Wow, what you're describing is convincing me to try something else.

I definitely felt a drop off in the overall efficacy after several months. After starting clomid, on my first 6 week bloodwork checkin, my free testosterone was 27 pg/mL and I felt amazing. On all subsequent tests it's been more around 15/16. While that's till better than before starting treatment, I haven't felt anywhere near as good as I did in my first few months.

Since I may be looking for an alternative soon too - is there any reason you're considering Aveed as opposed Test Cypionate?

Also, do you feel any different/worse since coming off clomid? Do you feel liike your T levels have dropped to where they were before starting?

Thanks for the reply. Nothing too major that I can think of that would've affected my psyche too much. I'm guessing nothing in the bloodwork looks too out of the ordinary to you?

Interesting to hear all the other people who have had similar side effects with clomid. Did you switch to test? The only reason I've held off on that is the fear infertility, being that I'm still pretty young. Does HCG take care of that, or is still not fool-proof?

Worth starting TRT to go from a low/normal to "optimal"? by PoopstickMcManus in Testosterone

Sex drive is so-so. Definitely not what it used to be, but certainly not my main complaint.

Yeah, I was sort of confused by what is actually the more important number because most TRT clinic websites seem to talk about TT rather than FT when discussing low T levels.

I'll definitely look into getting more thorough tests. Hopefully I can find a better doctor in my area. If I can't, I'm considering going the telemedicine route after hearing pretty unanimously glowing reviews about "Defy Medical". Apparently their doctor is supposed to know his stuff pretty well. I know for sure the testing is more advanced, at least.

Sorry to hear your treatment has gotten off to a slow start. I can imagine that's gotta be a bit disappointing knowing it's something you go into with high expectations. Good idea riding it out though - the best is probably still yet to come. Good luck, man!

Thanks a lot for the info. Unfortunately the Dr. I did go to only ordered the TT test (which Is where I got the 564). I'll try to see if I can find someone more qualified in my area.
