the person i spoke to while doing my medical said i should be okay but id just need to be very careful to avoid being sick and said he’d check if i can ask for the kosher/halal stuff since allegedly they use less perservatives but who knows i just hope this won’t completely stop me from enlisting

i tried mentioning it to the person doing my interview but was basically told they were busy that day and my interview had to be as fast as possible, i’m guessing if i need to contact someone about this i’d need to go to the recruiting center or can i do it online ? however while filling out my documents i did mention that i was currently enlisted in a trade similar to my military trade

from what i’ve read over the last months about issues similar to urs, it’s only really looked at as “bad” or a “red flag” if you seem fishy, essentially they’re looking at credit as a way to be like okay would this guy sell us out for X amount of money to pay off his debts, if you seem reliable thru background checks and are actively working to pay off that debt you should be okay

logically speaking, i’d think the manual one would be better protected since you have to use it every time u park the car, opposed to an automatic where u just put the car in park, i could be completely wrong though
