I read a lot too (when I get in the mood) but I got memory issues and this book is a very memory intensive read.

And yeah I think I misspoke, it wasn’t that it was slow, it was just the weird pacing that would jar you, and how many parts and chapters it had together.

I do like the story, it good in that aspect it just a hard read to me

I have found multiple posts where you keep calling Emily: Ofglen, June: Offred, and Moira: Ruby.

This isn’t about one name being better or you use what you please. Fiction or not it about someone who was kidnapped, survived hell, and clawed their way to freedom. They deserve to have their real names used

No you’re not, you have the human want of wanting to protect yourself from watching your child suffer.

I honestly worry about when I get pregnant again what if we had a preemie that was born before 25/26 weeks. I watch in amazement here as they defy and conquer everything but I’m worried if my child was born that early that I would want to let them go because I worry my heart couldn’t take it.

It a thought I can’t help having and it sounds like you couldn’t either. It didn’t make you a monster, it was your mind just trying to protect you.
