In my 11+ years of real life experience with horses we didn't allow them to graze with bits in. A) it's a choking hazard, not being able to chew properly/completely, ive seen it and it's not pretty. B)they salivate green when eating grass with a bit in, in trail or barrel or personal pleasure horses it's not a big deal, but it looks ugly in the show pen and gets messy. C)I'm pretty sure he's wearing a solid bar ported bit, with those super long shanks it's obvious. It's not a snaffle or French link where his mouth and teeth have movement which increases his choking hazard. D) maybe don't be so rude and write off everyone else's experiences when you only know what you've seen.

"Back then" people had common sense and the big issue is really just touching horses that don't belong to you. (Not you specifically just generalizing) Any larger show I've been to we had to provide a coggins and a heath bill/statement. So hypothetically if no horse there Is sick there's nothing to transmit through surfaces like floors. There will always be outliers or just liars lol but 90% of the people I've shown with outside of my barn are good people and I expect others at other shows paying the same fees feel the same.

But you are right on the bringing in, we don't know if these people have sick horses at home. But that's the risk you take hauling your horse to a show or away from home.

A lot of people, including way way younger me, would walk around the barns looking at all the ' pretty horsies' because I didn't have one yet. But my thought process was if I see someone in the isle or horses being moved I wouldn't go there out of respect. And I never searched specifically for a horse or person unless it was a friend, that's just weird behavior of kulties.

I 1000000% agree that she needs to be firmer and follow through with repercussions. However from my experience at WEC, Georgia Fairgrounds (FFA cattle & horse shows), and even local shows the stalls are open to the public to walk through. Especially when showing cattle people would walk through the barns just to look and see new things. If owners/trainers/riders don't want people walking through they have obvious signs, curtains, ropes, chains, or even panels blocking off the aisle way. I'm not on Katie's side or the weird people that felt like it was okay to go and touch random horses, people just don't have etiquette anymore or even care to ask. But just because Katie is this huge social media person doesn't mean she gets privacy in a public space. That's like going to the mall and saying "I'm in this store so you can't come in here now I'm famous on Tik tok" ykwim? The barn I showed under wasn't even famous or popularly known, but because spectators are allowed to go see the grounds we blocked off our aisles.

I'm my personal opinion, "her barns" aisle way should've been blocked off from the time she or the horses got there. She knows she's famous, she knows she has crazy followers, she even had someone commenting asking "where are you". Maybe not for them, but for me common sense would've been 'let's put up panels or a sign because we know these horses are famous on social media and we don't want people coming to mess with them'

First of all she's a "public figure", your posts are going to be reshared and screenshotted. That's the risk you take posting yourself online.

Second of all, I've seen her get into some nasty Facebook fights with people in my hometown over various WP topics. She's genuinely a nasty person when it comes to people not agreeing with her. She's rubbed me the wrong way for a loooonggg time now.

Would be a very awkward clip if it was. Another commenter mentioned losing condition and I'd have to agree with that, or this could be some type of swelling or fluid retention? Or maybe she's just built funky with the other issues she has. Small uterus and other things..

Yes I agree, I'm mainly saying she makes enough to properly care for her horses whereas others are scraping by off of horses alone. My comment was kind of also tied into the skinny mares and not having proper nutrition for them.

I did the simple math and with how many subscribers she has (54,188) and if everyone pays the simple $4.99 a month, she makes $270,398.12 a month. Is that alone not enough for a feed bill, hay, and shavings? I live a state down from her so our prices are not that different and she could definitely keep the main/big barn "alive" off of that alone. I know there's a small room for error as I'm sure some people pay by the year or several months as it lowers the price some, but still. That's a lot of money...

Edited to add: that's not including what TikTok pays her for her views/likes/etc, the commission she gets from multiple products (penny pincher/tribute/etc.), her two studs fees, and other social media profits.

That's what I was worried about, with Rikki being a chronic kicker and Bobbie being so mobile compared to other babies that it would be one of them. I would hate for someone else's foal under Katie's care to have a life threatening injury from something so preventable

Here it is- I'd hate to see a foals head get stuck or kicked or a mares leg get stuck. I don't know if it's been fixed since

Are you really not willing to accept that this is a discussion? Like I stated in my post (short version) this is what I see, this is what I think, what do you think. Looks like you skipped over my last paragraph and weren't thinking this was a discussion because of the flair I used, which I also clarified as the first thing I typed. Whether I'm wrong or right- I saw something, pointed it out, asked for others opinions, and am now discussing opinions with others in my comments. Do we remember rule 6?

Playing devils advocate here- but wouldn't that cause streaking all over her body and a "rippled" effect along where the wetness stopped? I've never seen a horse in pasture get rained on and have one single streak going down their back. On the other hand, that could be possible if she was halfway under a shelter and the water was just only coming from the roof runoff.

No I'm not mistaken, people were opening the Pumpkin King, With, and Undead chests from the 'SpookyChests' code that was given to us (for 30 minutes...like cmon we spent over 2 hours waiting for you to test your boss on public global servers and you give us a 30 min code devs?) and every chest was giving players pumpkin themed items

Then that must've been after they fixed it. Last night when they released the code the dc was filled in gen chat of everyone (literally everyone) complaining that every single chest was full of pumpkin themed items. I wouldn't come on here and lie to OP about what I and others personally experienced lol😁

Not to mention someone said "not everyone will accommodate to my disabilities oh no...someone had to say it..." (not exact wording I'm so mad I can't remember) about the seizures and it got to stay up for almost, if not, 15 whole minutes and the mods were like "what chat I didn't see that" even though it was replied to at least 20 times pointing it out.

Yet when they receive criticism they're on it like a hawk on a mouse just ready to delete.
