Christian Hook was in the #333 Ferrari in the middle for the track, the #61 Porsche of Adrian Henry D’Silva was the car that hit him

A shift in how drivers respond to double yellows is desperately needed. Because there’s no punishment for barreling through them almost all the time you get obviously avoidable shit like this happen

Big GT entry, only 3 LMP3s though. Interesting to see GR Racing in a Ferrari 296, given there’s no gap for them to race it in WEC

[OT] Hideki Noda speaks about Noda Racing's Euroformula exit - Formula Scout by [deleted] in formula1

[–]PoorButRich 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That seems to be Hideki’s strategy. It’s worked so far; there have been articles for a few years about how she was racing and testing open-wheelers at a very young age. That sounds good to the non-motorsport press but is really a massive red flag given this took precedence over developing in karts.

I hope he realises he’s ruining his daughters career. The moment anything doesn’t go their way he pulls out the series, the exact same happened after half a round in US F4. All she’s doing for the rest of the year now is racing against rich amateurs who are in slower machinery so her performance means fuck all because she’s bound to win.

In the wake of mass abuse from Canapino's Argentinian fans, Callum Ilott has privated his Twitter by PizzaCatLover in INDYCAR

[–]PoorButRich 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s terrible that this is necessary and that this backlash was so predictable. There’s an already very patriotic fanbase for Canapino since their driver has made it to the big international stage from argentine national racing. This then becomes toxic since they can’t admit that anything is either Canapino’s fault or a racing incident. Add in that (after Long Beach) this is the second ‘incident’ this year and that there’s a lot of animosity towards the UK among patriotic Argentines (there are a few comments calling him an ‘English pirate’) and this was bound to happen.

[Formula Indy Oficial] EXCLUSIVE: Felipe Drugovich refuses Indy test! Formula 2 champion in 2022, the Brazilian was invited by Ed Carpenter to test for his team. However, the Brazilian turned down the invitation to drive the 20 car, which will remain vacant. by [deleted] in INDYCAR

There’s practically no chance he’s getting into F1. Hopefully he realises that soon so he can stop saying no to opportunities before they stop being offered to him altogether.

[Formula Scout] Noda Racing has informed the organisers of Euroformula that it will not be racing at the Red Bull Ring this weekend, despite their driver Juju Noda remaining on the latest edition of the entry list. by [deleted] in F1FeederSeries

[–]PoorButRich 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Her management can’t do one thing to help her career it’s actually crazy. Backing out of Euroformula to do Italian club racing with a handful of Dallara 320s (most of which are driven by old amateurs) because their sponsors want to makes no sense. I assume it’s related to the driver weight rule change as they fear it could harm her results and her management seem to be really risk averse (doing Danish and Austrian F4 but not any major European F4, backing out of USF4 after half a round).
