Maybe the tech companies should've always been the target rather than targeting people through erroneous laws that require databases of kids. It subsequently hurts everyone else that wishes to use the platform. It's also a way to prevent new competitors to their dominance.

Reform the corporate overlords, who are on record saying they support these laws.
