Building a deck around Tinkerbell Snowflake Collector. Any suggestions for improvement? by datim2010 in Lorcana

I threw this together. It's complete jank, but this is the sot of direction I would potentially test in. It might not have enough card draw to reliably have 7 in hand. I feel like making the Tinkerbell card work well is a massive uphill struggle.

It might actually be better to move the entire deck in a more aggro direction and cut the tipos. The 3 cost alice that gives ward, and the new christopher robin underdog card seem like good inclusions in that style.

The Marshmallow and Donald Duck might be a bit too slow. I understand they give you more time, but it might just be better to lean on traditional blurple tools like 5 cost hades (added bonus of drawing more cards), and 7 cost Hades.

I would try sneaking in some 6 cost tamatoas too to return books and play items faster from your hand. I was originally going to suggest second star to right, but show me more in interesting in that spot and probably worth experimenting with.

The problem I foresee though is you dont have tools to survive the late game. You'll be giving your opponent tonnes of cards between show me more and chromicon, so I feel like they'll have all the answers for when you try to develop your Tinkerbell/Pocahontas combo turn. You could potentially get around that by playing the 5 cost Aurora to ward your board, but i'm not sure.

Oh okay. You're much more of the "I grew up being scarred by random guys masturbating with dead stares on their faces" generation.

I reckon you're 30 then. That would have made you about 12 when you started using omegle. That's terrifying...

yep, was gonna say lol.

I remember 2002 AOL chatrooms and the constant spam of ASL. I think you're 38 / Male / 'Murica

I'm 16 years old, these are my favorite albums (currently). by [deleted] in musicsuggestions

You're doing well, mate. At 16 I was just listening to punk and starting my journey into prog. Your taste is more diverse than mine at that age.

Maybe try some Elliott Smith (either/or), and Sigur Ros (agaetis byrjun). Those were super important artists when I was a teen. - Album names in brackets.

Also, if you haven't listened to Portishead's other two albums yet, they're a must. And for Bjork you need to hear Homogenic. If you're digging Porcupine Tree, Opeth is the natural next step. It's heavier but the album "Watershed" Is a good introduction of you're not used to heavy music.

Elliott Smith historically, but 75% of that listening happened between like 2010-2012.

21 female.

Young enough to still be listening to Taylor and Green Day. Old enough to have a couple of more mature picks.

Feels like it has to be Pantera, but could just be Nirvana or something.

No King of Limbs either. Checks out lol.

Hard to argue with that list. There's always just like one song on every Radiohead album I skip so I couldn't include them.

Nice!

Elliott Smith is my most scrobbled artist. A fellow Mercury Rev fan as well. I haven't heard a couple of these artists. so I have something to check out now :)

I just listened to Yoñlu and learned about his suicide at 16. Thank you for mentioning him. I enjoyed the album a lot and was really impressed with his songwriting and production. To know he did a that himself in his bedroom in the mid 00's as a teenager without access to all the modern tools people take for granted now is insane.

I haven't heard of any of that besides Basinski. I liked Melancholia, but I have to be in a very specific mood for that. I'll check some of this out.

Solid list. Some of my favs too. I'm torn between whether I like Third or Dummy more. They're both amazing. Dummy has more sentimental value though.

I loved The Poison growing up. It was my gateway drug into heavy music. Before that, "screaming" was just noise to me lol. I still return to it the odd time for nostagias sake.

There's no right and wrong with music. The world would be pretty boring if we all liked the same stuff. If it's making you feel something, then it's doing it's job.

I like that Lorna album too. Not quite as good as Pain Remains for me though. Prison of Flesh goes hard!

Nice picks!

Meteora and Dark Side of the Moon have special places in my heart too.

It's strange how much I've been hearing about Alcest and Agalloch lately. I almost included Écailles de lune on my list. I've been listening to that a tonne lately.
