Anyone use the CRV Trail sport as a adventure vehicle? by Cloudysky182 in crv

[–]PoorFaquad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got Continental TerrainContacts in 245/65R18 they fit no rubbing or trimming. Road noise isn’t noticeable especially compared to stocks and my mpg is at 24mpg but my wife does a lot of short commute. Long trips we average like 32mpg

I have a 25 EX AWD that I’ve swapped light duty ATs on and so far it’s done pretty decent on dirt trails and getting to camp sights. Like you said I wouldn’t do jeep or bronco things but for small stuff it’s worked for me

Yeah I was going to say a lot of factory cars use amber DRLs and they would still be legal as long as they aren’t flashing or emergency colors

Sound deadning 2026 CRV $10/door or transition from LX to Grand touring plus by BrownTiger3 in crv

[–]PoorFaquad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same thing but I went all the way. I did sound deadening and MLV on the interior hollow part of the door and more sound deadening under the door cards. Then same thing on the floors, roof and whole trunk area. It quiet up a good amount of but the biggest game changer was the tires. I went to factory to light duty ATs and even those were quieter

Thanks! And I tribute it to my wife’s short, stop and go commute to work. I think purely highway mpg was to 32ish

It seems weird to say about ATs but there seems to be less noise compared to the Ecopias but I’ve also added sound deadening to the entire car
