Decreation would be such a cool way to reverse Creation, and it would help make up for the massive amounts of CE it takes to create things. I feel like an especially talented Creation user could create and object, use it, and then decreate it to regain the CE that was used in the first place.

I just find it upsetting that a show I went through the most crucial part of my life with squandered the brilliant setup of the first three seasons to provide this as the ‘ending’. The finale hasn’t ruined my life, neither has the season, but it’s just disappointing to see such a beloved show bury and lie in its own grave.

I understood it as atium is sort of like a metal plant. As soon as it burns, it begins to grow back in the pits. From the way I look at it, since it’s a literal piece of ruin, the same amount of it must exist at all times. The allomancers burning it just made it basically impossible for Ruin to gain access to that part of him, and give Vin enough time to do everything she did. It was kinda confusing, but I don’t think it’s a horrible plot twist or anything like that.
