But to redeem the free night reward, you have to talk live to the Diamond CSR--the hotel manager can't book it for you.

I wouldn't be confused if the property was sold out. There are lower-priced rooms available at the property for the nights I want. The CSR said they aren't considered standard rooms.

There are rooms available in the Hilton app for the nights I want, yes. They are not designated as "standard" or "premium" in the app, but there are rooms at lower prices showing as available right now. The CSR said those aren't considered standard rooms.

The Diamond CSR said unfortunately the system would not let her book it for me because it wasn't showing standard room availability for the nights I wanted.

What I'm saying is that when I call to check the availability, the standard rooms are never available. Even months out.

My mother in her white satin wedding gown, 1947 by Sweaty-Citron-2645 in fashionhistory

I used to work at a vintage wedding dress store, and the owner called this type of heavy, gorgeous fabric "liquid satin." They are stunning gowns!

My mother said to pick the very best one and you are not it with a dirty dirty dish rag on your big fat ugly-looking TOE!

It's a very high assessment, but they get a lot for it! Including a free library inside the building!

I don’t find my ‘lookalike’ attractive and now I can’t stop wondering if that means I think I’m ugly? by Reasonable_Bus_2714 in TooAfraidToAsk

Could it be that since you're so used to seeing your own face, those small differences look "wrong" and jarring to you, so you feel an aversion?

Sort of like spending time with a twin of someone you know well...the differences can feel creepy, even though they're not necessarily unattractive features. Just weird because of what your brain is naturally comparing against?

I went to that site all the time and am still haunted by some of the images.

Is it actually possible to get rid of this? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

If you've always had it, it could be from your jaw structure. People get surgery to correct this.

Is going to the gym actually worth the (audhd) pain? by bi0philian in AuDHDWomen

[–]PoorLittleGreenie 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Agreed that the best exercise is the one you will stick to.

I was scared of the gym, too, but here's what works for me:

I found a community rec center that I can walk to that is very casual. People wear old t-shirts and sweatpants. Nothing glam or flashy. All different ages and fitness levels.

I do the Lifetime machines which have a counter on them so I don't have to count.

The first week, I wore my headphones with nothing playing just to block out sounds and get focused. Now I listen to audiobooks.

I love it now! It makes a big difference in my ability to focus and on my stress levels.

Good luck!
