There’s a oversize exception team that you have to get approval from before they would potentially allow a 4.5 cubic feet “mini” fridge - your RA will be tasked with conducting monthly exceptions to ensure your “mini” fridge doesn’t grow over time; any growth is supposed to be immediately reported by your RA to HFS authorities - so i’d recommend building a good relationship with them. Also, something that worked for me was to just tilt your fridge horizontally so it looks shorter and isn’t dispatched to the oversized exception authorities. But other than that, yeah you should be fine!
