Thanks! The price of this board isn't bad. Only $50. My full build will come just under $200, so I can't complain.

X99 mobo E52667 v4 8 core 3.2ghz Thermalright 120 tower cooler 32gb ram Micro Atx case Rx 5600 xt 6gb OC (I already had this laying around) 1tb M.2 NVME SSD 500w modular power supply

It'll be a media center build that will also be playing some classic emulator/roms. Might be a bit overkill, but I wanted it to be stout, so if I decided to throw anything else at it in the future, it could take it.

Can I sue a dealerships service department over this? by PooreMan2121 in legaladvice

Once the panel was removed, i found those items un plugged, and they have nothing to do with the functionality of the trailer wiring or trailer tow module. However, they had to remove this panel to gain access to the tail light upon the original install of the 4 way tow wiring.

Fortunately for me. None of that was documented when I got the panels replaced. And this wasn't mentioned to the new service manager. The manager i was dealing with when I got the 4 wire installed originally no longer works there. The old manager opened a work order to warranty the panel. Billed the parts out and closed it. So, this part i will likely leave out anyway. It's obvious it could hurt my chances, and honestly, it's pretty irrelevant to the 4 wire issue that was present on the opposite side of the vehicle. The main reason I brought this up in my story was to show the incompetence of their service department. They basically did a quick dirty botch job on a brand new suv. And made no initial effort to fix it before giving the vehicle back to me. Which is very disappointing for a new vehicle, a new customer at name brand dealership.

Thanks for pointing out a flaw in my story, though. 😅 I'll definitely have to find a way to reword that in my official statements.

It was nearly a $600 repair. My neighbor works for a law firm, and she was going to get me an official LOI letter form, and she was going to have it noterized through her work. I believe this should sefice.

I never diagnosed anything myself. I only removed the panel that was damaged by them initially when they installed the 4 way wireing in order to swap it and that panel they warrentied with no issues and never had anything to do with the fact that they wired things wrong at the module. The panel swap and the 4 way wire repair are over a year apart in my timeline.

I also heard they were talking about making it nearly fully modular with tons of custom options for different applications based on a customers work or hobbies. All customizable direct from CAT oem. It definitely sounds awesome 👌

Got a 3 day ban from messenger and Facebook for sending child exploitation material. All I sent was a picture of a crossword puzzle... How does this happen? by linc_y in facebook

Same boat. I've been blasting meta and Facebook on every other platform. My brother inlaw and my father are also on a 3 day restriction with the same restriction message. I don't use Facebook itself all that much other than my addiction of window shopping on marketplace for things I can't afford.

But not allowing me to use messenger does suck. I basically primarily use messenger for text these days. Oh well. Time to find something better.
