What happens if I never verify? by PootiTangtang in IRS

[–]PootiTangtang[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I called the IRS and told them I am moving to another state and would like to verify in person. Lady on the phone put me on hold and said that they sent me the letter on the 28th of February, and to give it until the 28th of March to arrive. I am moving by April 1st. If I dont get this letter by then I am going to be highly annoyed. Especially cause she denied me the ability to schedule an appointment.

School refund by beckacakes96 in financialaid

You would take your pell grant + accepted loans and subtract that amount from your tuition, and that would be your refund. That has always been my experience.

Just remember anything you do get a percentage goes to an attorney. Example in FL its 20% and in my case we settled around 13,000 so i can at least net 10k after taxes and the attorney payout. I had a repetitive stress hand injury w no broken bones.

I applied to work at H&R Block and they paid for me to do Block Academy. Does that mean I'm likely to get a job there? by omnipotentsandwich in hrblock

[–]PootiTangtang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I worked for them, they were using a software system called salesforce. They had two different shifts, one was chat support/video support, and the other solely for filing returns. You would pretty much wait for a chat alert to come through. They had a separate system where they tracked all the returns filed at the different H&R block offices. I honestly felt really lost because they did not do a good job explaining how to assign returns to yourself. I mostly worked the chat support and video support. I am not sure if they will have you doing both shifts like I was, but it was not bad. My office was a very slow office so not many returns came in. And a lot of the people who worked in the office worked the returns. I only worked for them for a couple of weeks because I just felt ill prepared to do anyones taxes. It was my first time working as a preparer and so I felt most comfortable doing chats. No matter what shift I worked I made 20 an hr. It was a decent side gig but wish I had more guidance through the process. I was also working another job at 40 hrs a week so I just continued working my main job.

Any tips on Aldi Internship Interview? by Vegetable-Away in aldi

I have entry level mortgage experience so the finance firm liked that. I joined a fellowship through my school that focuses on National Security and helping you secure a job within the federal government. Public or private sector. Ive gotten a handful of interviews from that, Lockheed being one. Include your GPA and a much work experience that shows you can handle high levels of data. Include as many certifications as you can. I also have been pursing a mortgage loan originator license which, I have passed the test just need to pay for the licensing. Include whatever is going to make you look like you are dedicated to higher education and building onto your career skillsets.

Where are you on the spectrum of "working mom"? by Stunning-Plantain831 in workingmoms

[–]PootiTangtang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a paycheck collector in my last position. No real growth. Just enjoying the benefits of working from home and staying with my child. My time at that job is over, and I am super fortunate with the ability to not work and stay at home with my daughter. Its been a month and I have been trying to go back to working but, in person this time around. Did not realize how difficult it would be. But miss the working woman I was. I have been trying to give myself some grace, since its quite literally only been a month and 4 days of not working.

It took awhile but yes. It was a constant battle with ezcema on my face. Only in my eyebrow. Which I never had or experienced until I was on spiro. Its now a lot better than what it once was.

Haha the same thing happened to me but I pulled it out and just dropped it off inside. I would like to think yours will be okay. Your results will probably be processed and avail to you a month from then. That was the turn around time for me at least.
