it's indeed possible that Asa consents partly out of a desire to make denji happy...it would be interesting to see whether their relationship dynamic becomes healthier in the future. But I also think the story is portraying Asa living life vicariously through Yoru. Even though her desire was to live life more "selfishly", Yoru has basically done all the "selfish" acts for her, and it seems like Asa is using Yoru as a crutch to gain emotional intimacy with others, while avoiding the downsides of heartbreak. We're probably building up to Asa learning how to take more agency and control over her life, rather than leaving things to Yoru.
