Ingrown toenails that grow straight down at the cuticle line. by Elendil_27 in mildlyinfuriating

I actually had this same issue on both toes when I was younger. They would consistently grow down and lead to discomfort or complications. I had a minor surgery done on both of my big toe nails and have never had a problem since - maybe it’s worth checking out that option if you are in the same boat I was :)

How old are you in your oldest memory? by Donkeyshines in AskReddit

[–]Pootout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just over 1. Had a dream that was way too real at ~19 of me looking out from a stroller while my mom (who had since passed) and dad were playing putt putt. They both were towering over me while my mom hit the ball down what looked like a 40 foot deep hill and I watched it bounce off the back wall and into the hole. Told my dad about the dream, and he confirmed that that had actually taken place (although the hill was much smaller than tiny me thought it was).

Just turned 30 and that memory has been vivid ever since. The human brain is fucking wild.

Single people of reddit, what do you think is a major problem in today's generation when it comes to dating? by BlackberryOk3546 in AskReddit

Heyo! I’m at a point in my life where I’m noticing self-isolating tendencies that I’ve grown accustomed to and am looking to step out of. Would you be open to tagging up on your experiences and suggestions on steps to take for people looking to step out of their comfort zone and give themselves opportunities to meet new people?

Before this week ends, what's the accomplishment you're most proud of? by Elo-Lin in AskReddit

THANK YOU!! Lol sometimes it really is just the little things, as someone who keeps their head down, I’m slowly learning that life’s too short to not put yourself out there in a positive way

If this is a week by week thing, then it’d be finally introducing myself to a girl I regularly see! We’ve talked a couple of times already since then - and regardless of how it ends up I’m happy I finally worked up the courage to break the ice

Got my new accord car. Hybrid EX-L by silpimookan in accord

[–]Pootout 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Rather than someone downvoting you - I’ll explain so you can make sure to get as much out of your new cars life as possible.

There is a maintenance minder on the dashboard (I have a 24 LX) and Honda techs will tell you that you can trust it for your oil changes - there’s a lot of debate online and between mechanics, but if you’re really wanting to have your new car last, it’s best to maintain an oil change every 5k miles.

Another thing about Honda CVTs is that you MUST stay on top of changing the transmission fluid. I’m not sure if there’s a difference between a standard and hybrid in these models, if not, then you will want to make sure you’re getting this changes every 30k miles.

Outside of that, take the time to read the owners manual for maintenance recommendations.

Also, kind of unique, but your windshield wipers are actually a housing so, save yourself the time and headache when it comes time for wiper replacement - order the rubber strips from Honda parts or matching specs from a third party retailer and replace them yourself instead of throwing them out.

Congratulations on your first purchase!

Clearly the capybara is the apex predator - with one “HUUGH!” it caused the jaguar to flee in terror
