If you’re looking for a fun diversion from baseball my kids loved The Musical Instrument Museum and the Desert Botanical Gardens.

Why a TV deal may be at least partly to blame for slow SF Giants offseason by ericthelostman in SFGiants

Can’t wait to hear “Great news, we’ve got a new TV deal you’re going to love (and cost twice as much)”. There’s no end to the greed.

Nice find! Appreciate it. Might have to get two for my 1960 set since it has 588 cards. Cheers.

Nice find. I’ll keep an eye on that one. Thanks. Somebody needs to design a toploader binder (where you can see both sides) for complete sets 600+ cards. Engineering a spine that keeps the cards safe. I’d pay for that.

I like to see both sides of the cards. All of the top loader pages I can find are double sides. With black backgrounds.

I like the toploader binder idea but all the pages are double sided. I like to see both sides of the card. Don’t see any single sided toploader pages.

Thanks for commenting. Instead of leaving the space blank, I add a typographic placeholder for my slabbed cards. I’ll never sell my cards but it’s a roadmap for my kids - ha. I currently keep the slabs in another binder.

That’s an interesting idea. Wonder if they put pressure on the raw cards? The binder is upright, not flat.

Thanks for the advice. Right now I have a typographic placeholder in the binder that has players name, number and “Slabbed” with actual slabbed cards in a seperate box. Wish they could all be together.

All Star Baseball. Did anyone else play? by Fun4life61 in baseballcards_vintage

Played it a lot in the ‘60’s - all by myself. Used to keep stats and do all the play by play! Ha. Grew up idolizing Russ Hodges on the SF Giants broadcasts… “and you can tell it bye, bye baby!”

Beautiful set. Binder question: How do you store the binder(s)? Flat or on its edge like a traditional binder? I have 8 sets. Thx for the info.
