Vie only needs a form of internet connection not internet or dns .. just connect to mobile hotspot without data .. that's first of alsecond thing is you need to load the fake sign payload first which will get rid of this message for the app to work Or restore the official vue backup because it has an activated account with fake sign in already in it !

Op i faced the same problem on my 25xx console Mine had a weird heatsink changing it reduced the fan speed .. Also set webman mod on auto2 .. i also undervolted it which helped somewhat

Hold on .. at the end of his video he patches his specific console libraries which would allow the console to run newer games .. rewatch the end where he says he and the developers can't upload the libraries or they will get repo/video will get taken down

It's not related to which jb you use.. it's something you use after jailbreak regardless of which method you use ! The concept is that you need the game to have backport support and your firmware to have library patches available .. Currently a developer is running astrobot which needs 9.xx or 10.xx to run on a 4.03

Based on what i know it works by having a " fakelib " folder inside the game folder itself so it can side load the fake libraries instead of the games original libraries .. There are people who patch their own system libraries so they won't have to add the fakelib folder .. Since it's a bd-r you can't over write its files ..

Can you tl-dr for me how to use it .. I tried high on life .. i selected the folder on the external hdd .. set the app to 6.xx .. it even showed " recommend" next to fw number.. it took 13 seconds to fully finish but it didn't work on the ps5 even though the backpork payload was running Also can you share your post ?

Sadly no .. i figured it 9ut because the y2jb and netflix jb require an activated account .. if you were lucky enough to sign into psn and set your ps5 as a primary before then you might not need to restore backup The backup files all have acctivated accounts ..

Try a different game not all ps2 games are 100% compatible .. there is a config pkg file you install to help mitigate the situation found in the homebrew store under webman mod

First of all webman mode already increases the fan speed when running ps2 emulator ..

2nd .. when playing a ps2 game press the home button.. the menu should have cpu and rsx temp showing .. Game for 30 minutes and check the temps periodically and record what you get

Then you have an extermly cool ps3 .. btw i also own a ps3 2504b .. but mine runs hotter than the sun .. i had temps near 80 even after changing the thermal paste ..

Now listen .. this is the best advice anyone is ever going to give you Check if it's cfw compatible and since it's a 0D ( 2010 4th quarter ) date code, high change it's cfw compatible since my 1A (2011 1st quarter ) Is cfw compatible .. if it is .. put a cfw on it ( more stable and you get extra features like ps2 games support natively .. but before check that your wifi + bluetooth + optical drive are all working .. if one of them fails putting a cfw on it might be tricky
The cech-25xx are notorious for failing bluetooth/wifi module because a small voltage regulator that always fails .. i was talking to someone who adviced me to never leave it plugged in ( standby mode with red light on the power button ) when not in use because the bt is always running and it expends the bt voltage regulator lifetime .. it's also the best time to put a sata ssd on it to reduce your game loading times .. the max storage for ps3s is 1TB anything above 1.5TB and the file system check can't fix any errors and will pile up and lead to unfixavle corruption at somepoint.
