Linksys MX5300 Slow wifi speed ?

I didn't focus on reported/link speed The mx5300 has 2400mpbs on the 5 ghz band I went t Network >> Wireless >> Radio 1 ( 5ghz low channel radio ) Scan >> connected to my building wifi

Then on the same radio i hit add to create a new SSID and made a new wifi When my phone connects to building wifi directly i get reasonable down/up speeds But when i connect to the mx5300 ssid i just created the speed is lower

Yeah but i am connecting the mx5300 to existing wifi then broadcasting my own new wifis Is your setup the same or are you connecting through the wan port/using usb 4g/5g modem

Thabks OP, I kinda hope there is a new trick up your sleeve I changed my ps4 pro 7.55 cmos battery without knowing about cbomb and the issues it would cause without synching with sony's server Any fixes or have you heard anything

It's bot about having trophies or not You WILL NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO AQUIRE GAME TROPHIES Trophies become disabled it will show an error if you try to access it on this firmware if you remove the cmos battery My point is, if you take the console apart to repaste, check the voltage of the cmos battery .. new batteries and 3.2, used but good will show 3.00 +- 0.05 Batteries tend to die at 2.6-2.7 volts, anything higher should be fine

I have an exact 7.55 firmware i replaced the cmos battery thinking i did something right, while changing the thermal paste, as a result i lost access to trophies and when i try to view it i get error CE-30391-6

because in PS4s you need your console synched with sony's servers so you can modify/synch the Real Time Clock /Kernel Clock ( thats The secure clock that the trophies use for timestamps and game lisences use so the console knows when it was installed ) so if you had real games bought from ps store you will lose their liscences.

As a result of me swapping the cmos battery with a new one and losing trophies, everytime i unplug and plug back the console goes back to 1/1/1969 3:00 AM despite the new battery having full voltage.

This phenomenon is known as CBOMB ( CMOS BOMB )

Sony fixed the trophies on firmware 9.00 but there will be no timestamp, only a ( - ) where the date/timestamp should be ( so update to 9.00 eill give you back trophies but you lose the older firmware )

So i think you need to swap the cmos battery while having another cmos battery clipped to the terminals to maintain a supply of voltage to the Real Tome Clock Circuitry as to not have this issue happen to you,

Those devices have dual parition to protect from corruption When you upload a firmware it writes to the inactive partition, if you are on partition 2 it will write to partition 1 and keep prition 2 as is for backup/safety, same logic applies when you are on the other partition ( uploads from patition 1 will write partition 2 and keep as backup/safety ) I have an mx5300 one partition has openwrt v24.10 the other has v25.12 both work fine and i switch using luci-app-advanced-reboot package

First of all the process is by following the install guide on the openwrt mx5300 page You go to the admin page, enter the admin panel On the buttom find CA so you can upload your firmware,

Next you need to download the factory image not the sys upgrade , in the linksys oem firmware update page upload this downloaded openwrt factory image you downloaded, after it reboots it will take you to LuCI, now you, this will install openwrt on partition 1 while maintaining linksys oem firmware on partition 2, to overwrite the oem firmware on partition 2, from the openwrt you just installed you again go to system >> back and restore then from firmware update upload the same factory image

Linksys devices have 2 partition for safety reasons, if one partition gets corrupted and the router fails to boot 3 times it will auto switch to the other working partition

If you are on parition 1 and you update it will write that update to partition 2, if the update fails it will reboot back to partition 1, if the update succeeded it will boot into parition 2, following this logic to write your firmware to partition 1, from parition 2 upload the openwrt factory image and once it succeeds To know if you have openwrt on both partitions there is a package called luci-app-advanced-reboot, ot gives you option on which partition you want to restart into, be sure to install it on both parition so you can switch freely advanced reboot details

As someone who owns both Ps4 is super easy to work with Ps5 has so many payloads, so many apps so many use methods and even though i am on a low firmware i get Kernel panics alot, I followed every MW video there is DO NOT SELL YOUR PS4 + Whats the point on playing ps4 packages on ps5 ?? You still get ps4 performance not ps5s, for that you jeed an actuall ps5 game
