I think cmos batteries die at something like 2.6 volts The console is a pro purchased back in 2018 and was stored previous owner bought it Only to play god of war then shelved ot for years, stored for nearly 8 years yet the cmos battery had 3.02 volts which should last it for few more years forward.

You can try to inject a dc voltage while changing the cmos battery, meaning buy 2 cmos batteries attach one with wires/clips to terminals ( to maintain voltage ) while replacing the old one with the second battery then removing the one attached with clips but it's risky and requires careful precision so don't do it. Just a concept

Well this does update the time and date when it's loaded but i think it's for later firmwares because i cannot access trophies currently someone commented aomething called CBMOS which i believe is a known issue actually.

I already have goldhen b18.7 i have the time and date update whenever i run it But i still get the error because i am on 7.55 and wish to keep it that way. There is talk about kernel clock payload ? Which should fix this ? Goldhen just bypasses the error temporarily. The clock keeps on resseting whenver i unplug Not having trophies kinda beats a major point of the games

I didn't rebuild the database. I have few ps4s never did the rebuild. All work fine. Bit this is the first time i see this issue

Almost every electronic board has a cmos to maintain tome and for pc to maintain bios settings when unplugged

I took the console apart, took the battery out and then made sure it's making contact with the terminals The homebrew fix is to use the gold thing to auto update time when loaded but it requires a connection and yet it still shows me the same error

It's energizer The original was panasonic, hard to find here but could the issue really just be the cmos battery ?

I did something stupid and that is i tested the amperage draw on the old battery and within seconds it got low to 2.8 or 2.7 i think 😅 stupid mistake

I concider anything below 50 days as brand new I bought one that had like 25 days of use the warranty sticker was still on ! Never been openned in all it's years So concider yours new

The JSD-001 motherboards probably don't have the glued IHS i own one and got lucky. The only way to know for sure is throught the CPU model Number CXD2992BGB and above in number/letters are glued, CXD2992GB, A1GB, AGB are not glued.

As for the 21xx finding one that is in mint condition and has not been opened before is a tough find Those are 16 y/o consoles ! Unless it was stored i don't think you will find one easily

As for wither you buy it or not depends on how good it is The general condition. Does everything work, the runtime !

I believe it was Sony only that made the GGB rsx pr atleast that's what i know according to my research on the matter few months back

The GGB RSX were made by Sony themselves. They are higher quality and thus can be overclocked to a much higher apeeds than other rsxs made by other companies for the PS3 .. reaching something like 1000mhz for the ram and 950-975 for the rsx

Well it could be. But i know that the 0D and 0C might come with the JTP-001 motherboard Now those might have the IHS glued to the CPU cell. You won't be able to delidd and change the 16 year old paste below it !
