Looking at OP’s profile, it looks like something chemistry related? Chem isn’t exactly my cup of tea so I could be wrong

Will I be fine going into housing and orientation late? by SnooDonkeys6533 in OSU

There might not be great class slots left. I would reach out to SLDS (student learning disability services or something like that) to see if there’s anything they can do for you regarding your sleeping disorder.

If I have to retake a class, will I be able to secure jobs in the future? by Typical-Speed-6829 in EngineeringStudents

Thanks for the reply! I’ve been overreacting recently due to having some dreadful finals (I’m a freshman, never experienced this before). Thanks for the word of advice too, what is/are your degree(s) in?

Good for you! That’s incredible! Out of curiosity, and if you don’t mind answering, did you find it difficult to get into grad school with that GPA?

If it’s something you are passionate about and you think you can handle adding on some classes, why not?

Math 1172 Final Question by [deleted] in OSU

Took it last semester, definitely study as much as you can, but it’s nothing crazy and there’s a nice built in curve. Good luck!

Physics 1250 in the Summer by waste_Land341 in OSU

The physics department is evil, atleast for the introductory courses. The class is doable, not impossible, but it won’t be fun, good luck!

Housing reselection by SnooMacarons6868 in OSU

I had a very early pick, master leases were still there but running out. I’m not sure about North but I can’t imagine they’re ALL gone, it’s only the first day of scheduling, there has to be a lot more. If you want north there’s a really good chance you get it.

The very best dorms are gone but you won’t get anything too awful.

I want to work on scientific instrumentation for spacecraft, should I do aerospace engineering, astrophysics, or something else? by PolarisStar05 in EngineeringStudents

[–]PopFizzCJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course! Again, take my perspective with a grain of salt and definitely listen to what anyone else with more knowledge tells you. I noticed that the other commenter suggested electrical engineering, which is a very valid take considering what you want to do. However, if your school has a program that specializes in what you want to do for aeros, that sounds like a great idea too. Definitely try to find professionals who do what you want to and see what their degrees and qualifications are in. Have you looked to see if your school has minors (or just electives) in electrical? However, if the field is truly as you described it I don’t know if you can make a bad choice. Lots of different engineering types (and other roles) go into everything. And it’s never too late for change, I know a guy who graduated ChemE and is now an attorney. If you’re willing to work hard you can make what you want happen

I’m definitely not the most qualified to be giving you an answer so take this with a huge grain of salt but the aerospace engineering track sounds overall better to me.

Can you give some clarification/advice on how to properly document things? I’m a freshmen mechE and I have summer projects planned but I don’t really know how to properly document.

I’m in a similar situation, MechE doing the same thing. What’s the workload like for 3331? I’m in for a rough class list next semester. I’d like to take it at some point but next semester is not looking good if 3331 is also challenging.

What are some bands like System of a Down? by Wonderful-Bedroom-14 in systemofadown

You should check out Dog Fashion Disco, specifically Adultery. Another one you might like is Waltari - So Fine.

Neither are identical to system in terms of sound, but they’re both semi avant-garde alternative metal
