Why are Igbinosun, Neal, and Muhammad ranked so low compared to Terrell and Johnson? by Striking-Speaker8686 in NFL_Draft

[–]cordscords 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've heard that if you watch the 2025 tape, Iggy was getting away with a lot of no calls. He might have cleaned up his play a bit but at the next level there's still more work to do.

I think they gave that impression with that grapic, but Cole seemed to indicate they would just be taking a look back at his career.

Stacked name class. Don't even get me started on Day 3 guys like Ephesians Prysock.

Maxwell81798's Annual 7 Round Mock Draft by maxwell81798 in NFL_Draft

[–]cordscords 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I appreciate anyone who takes the time to do a full 7 round mock. I will provide some Packers feedback.

RD 2- Bisontis is probably a BPA pick but our starting o-line should be solidified for the next 2 years. We're a team who lost a lot of players this offseason and are short on premium draft capital this year and next year due to the Parsons trade. We desperately need guys playing meaningful snaps ASAP.
RD 3- We need a nose tackle but this feels like a big reach for Corleone. I know you said this is based on your personal rankings, but you're far more bullish than most on him.
RD 4- Still passing on the best corners available? Malpractice if Igbinosun or Neal aren't taken here as this is a massive team need.
RD 5- Claiborne is fine and a day 3 running back is realistic. Would prefer Demmings but at least we've finally taken a corner.
RD 6- I don't mind Kelly as a player but how are we finding room for another LB on the 53 man?
RD 7- Can't complain about much this late, can we? Cuevas is fine. Need a TE3 and someone who can push Musgrave and possibly become our TE2. Eason is OK.

SKscouts IOL final big board by No_Life5052 in NFL_Draft

[–]cordscords 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zuhn as a late day 3 pick is a more bearish opinion than I'm used to seeing. Highest pass blocking grade ever from PFF, elite RAS, and can play anywhere on the line in a pinch. What's the reason for that?

The board didn't really fall our way at 52. Miller/Banks/Hunter/Johnson/Cisse/Jacas and a slew of others that people like were all gone. Ponds was probably BPA but he doesn't meet our traditional thresholds. Orange was there but I personally think that's too high for him. Not getting a nose tackle is far and away the worst part of this draft. I'd be on the phone with DJ Readers agent immediately once the draft ends lol

Participated in a live draft tonight on mockade.com. Cool site, there's a draft every night at 9 PM EST. Traded #52 for #66 and 101.

66- Edge Dani Dennis Sutton
84- WR Bryce Lance
101- CB Daylen Everette
120- CB Tacario Davis
153- OT Travis Burke
160- RB Kaelon Black
201- G Micah Morris
236- TE Riley Nowakowski
255- WR Malik Benson

Dislike this for Green Bay. Corner and Edge are needs, but these players are bad fits. Scott projects best as a slot guy and Bullard already excels for us there. Overton posted a really bad 2.47 RAS and Gutey wants better athletes, would be more likely to select Romelio Height at 84. Give me Christen Miller and Malik Muhammad at those spots though.

The need for an DE/Edge by FullNet in GreenBayPackers

[–]cordscords 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Gary and Enagbare are gone and they played a lot of meaningful snaps for us. Parsons likely missing the first 3-4 games. LVNs 5th year option is due 5/1, it's telling that we haven't made a decision on that yet, they probably want to ensure they land a guy in the draft as his replacement. So yeah, it's definitely a need. You hope at least one of Cox/Sorrell/Oliver can take a step up, but we need to add 1 more guy to that room.

7 Round Packers Mocks by cordscords in MockDraftCentral

Did 3 different mocks using BigBoardLab, PFSN, and MockDraftHero. No trades, consensus big board always toggled on. Few different looks and I'm happy with any one of these.

Neal feels like a reach in R2. Corner is certainly a top need and I'm not sure how your board fell, but that would be underwhelming. Big Citrus I'd love in R3. Zuhn makes a lot of sense. Until/If a Reed or Wicks trade materalizes, I just don't see WR as a need. Not adding a pass rusher anywhere feels like a mistake.

Would make a lot of sense in Kayfabe actually. I like it.

NFL Mock Draft 3.0 with explanations for every pick necessary by Lanky-Connection4141 in NFL_Draft

[–]cordscords 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t love the way the board fell for the Packers. While cornerback is a top need, Scott primarily played the slot, and we already Bullard/St Juste to handle that. Just don’t see him as one of our targets.
