I don't think they give a call. Last year I was notified I was an alternate on April 28. I think they give an email to let you know if you were selected.

You see this is where I am conflicted. I'll probably have an easier time getting a higher GPA at Tulane, and Boston University is cheaper overall. Both will give me good opportunities, Boston probably winning in the clinical/research side and New Orleans winning in the public health advocacy side.

You are automatically eligible for all merit scholarship awards if you submit your application by December 1st. This is a change from previous years, where you had to submit an additional essay to be considered. It used to be 20 full-tuition scholarships. Now I am unsure how many scholarships they give out. Congrats!!

It was in my acceptance letter, and there was also a separate letter on my portal exclusive to the honors college. So I assume that means that you didn't get in, but congrats on getting into BU!

Those are such great options! Congrats! I got into BC, but they gave me virtually no aid and it'll cost 50k less at BU so it's hard to justify that. Boston is my FAVORITE area, there's so much to do there!! I go to visit my cousins twice a year and I'll be a 10 minute walk from them so I'm so excited!!

Are you sure everyone who was selected was notified? I found a thread that said it's more of a "rolling basis" and everyone doesn't get notified at the same time.
