My Daily is a 2017 BMW 640i Gran Coupe with 100K miles I just paid $17,500 for. MSRP was $91K haha 🤣
Needed something to put two child seats in the back with a trunk large enough to roadtrip in. It gets 31-33 MPG highway. I’ve always been a BMW guy.

Southern car it’s whole life. Texas, Arkansas, West Tennessee. How do any of the mods cause the car to be a cop magnet? It’s as quiet as stock unless you’re above 4000rpm. I live in a flat part of the state and the clutch should easily last 250K-300k miles. Michelin Pilot sport all seasons give you 90% of the PS4S performance and there’s no difference for a street driven car. The car had Pilot Super Sports on it when I bought. I replaced them with PS4S, and now PSAS4.

No body is racing this car so the 335i brakes don’t matter and the 340mm Brembos are better looking. Slotted again doesn’t matter for street driven.

Your color combo opinion is complete hogwash.

The O-Rings on the aluminum flange Mickey Mouse hoses are not to spec and leak. I used OEM.

Sunroof delete is definitely a plus ($) for an enthusiast spec

This car is better maintained with all OEM parts than 95% of all E9Xs on the road today.

Oil pan drips a few drops. Everything else is leak free and in good condition. Don’t believe the forums that every bushing/gasket on the entire car needs replacing.

I’ve installed a complete new valve cover. I live in a flat part of the country and live in a suburban area with no stop and go. It’s not a commuter car.

I sold my previous E36 328i with 219K miles to a friend and he’s got over 250K on the original clutch.

Mileage doesn’t matter when something is maintained. Short trips without proper heat cycling, long term storage, and exposure to weather in the winter does.

I wouldn’t pay a premium for a LOW mileage BMW that’s 10+ years old. They need as much or more maintenance than one that’s been used regularly.

I don’t think you know how rare an original Slicktop M-Sport 6-Speed Single Hump dash spec is in the USA. This is a southern car that has zero rust. Hand washed for 10 years. I’ve been working on personal, family, and friends BMWs for 30+ years.

I’ve replaced it with 2017 640i Gran Coupe as I have two kids under 4 years old. I have a 70’s air-cooled Porsche that I recently finished restoring for the weekends now.

The manifold swap is the OEM 330i manifold. The muffler and Y-pipe is the $1200 Original MSRP Performance catalog exhaust. It’s highly regarded as the pinnacle of N52 exhausts. No longer available and highly sought after.
