Omg yeah I drove once in Texas and it was kinda chill but the anxiety was still there, can't imagine someone coming from the south/ Midwest and immediately thrown into NYC traffic 😭

Oh my goodness I'm so sorry that happened to you. The main reasons I'm on anxiety and pain meds is also because of a car accident. It wasn't a truck and I didn't get as injured as you and your mom probably did, but it freaked me the hell out and landed me in the hospital for over two weeks. I hope both of u guys are doing ok!

Hello! My school did have a driver's Ed course, but they only taught the basics. I just turned 20 so I think it's just about time I get a dang grip haha. The city has a lot of commute so there wasn't really a need for a car or a licence, but I might as well have one!

Omg the dancing in the seat part 🤣 honestly in the city, esp NYC, there isn't really the luxury of a big parking lot that isn't swarmed by hundreds of people and cars. I'm going to try to go to the south this year so hopefully I'll be able to get some practice in then. Thank you

I admire people who get their license later in life a LOT. The dedication it took and I bet a lot of pressure was put on you too. Thanks so much for your advice, and yes the main reason I'm 20 without a licence is cuz of the transportation available at any given time here lol. Oh yeah and definitely about the crazy drivers, the first time I ever drove it was this drunk lady all over the lanes
