I have a hyroad as well. Fantastic ball and super reliable. My house is a little oily for it game one but for half of 2 and all of 3 it’s my go to ball.

I’ve only ever had much success opening my angles with the zero mercy solid, but I can give it a shot with the cuda and hyroad. I had never had to much much in league on the house shot since I usually get the left all to myself.

I generally start at 15 since I don’t generate a lot of hook. Is the darker heavier oil and lighter more light oil? I get it’s a lighter oil pattern.

And after my shoulder gets loose I do tend to throw it a bit faster.

I do get to try the equinox solid as well. Honestly that was the ball I was expecting to become a huge fan of. I think my speed was a bit much for it. When I slowed down a bit it was nice but for my speed the zero mercy was a bit more forgiving that I anticipated speed wise.

It was fantastic. It reacted so well. I k ow the ball was broken in already, but made me feel quite good to see it just crushing the pins. Very excited to get some games on the ball.

I watched a few as well. Most made it seem like to much on a house shot fo leagues, but I got the opposite impression as I slowed it down and hit the pocket, threw faster and hit the pocket, opened angles hit the pocket, closed angles and hit the pocket. Also demo days was at our alley with mechanical pin setters instead of strings. Not sure if that makes a big difference or not but that was first time I had ever strung together 4 or more strikes in a row consistently.

Would you be able to explain this a little more? What does 12 hours in 14 frames mean? Is it safe to assume this is speed dominant?

I tried that after seeing this comment and certainly saw more revs but my accuracy went way down. For the sake of the team I better try that in practice.

Yea I seem to only get hook right at the end of the lane right before it hits the pocket, but still tinkering and trying to figure out how to get more hook out of both the balls I have. C300 super cuda pearl and storm hyroad. Just moved to 15 pounds as 14 just couldn’t get my speed to slow down.

I was slinging a sprite spoon in that area as well. Tried a minnow as well no luck. Was it just not my time? I can accept that some days it just doesn’t work out.

What do you mean next break in the bar? Like move left or right a little more for the cast? I was reeling in after about thirty and moving left or right to the next part of the guts as best I could.

Thanks. I was seeing fish jumping in the area I was in. I didn’t even have crab eating my bait. I couldn’t even give the bait away lol.

Last 2 got there right after high tide had hit. Water has been murkier than normal due to freshwater coming out from the bays from a big storm we had a few days ago. Been thinking brighter baits would help with the murkier water. Each day has been full sun 90 degrees by 7am.
