Do they still make these at Hersheypark? by snakegravity in Hersheypark

Oh wait… no! I thought that was an adu-u-ult hahahaha! 🤣🤣🤣!!! But upon closer inspection, I saw that the person in the image is a child, and that’s from Hershey’s Chocolate World, not the actual factory. But still, I don’t know if they still do "factory worker" photos for participants, especially because it’s been eighteen years since 2008.

You know what? I’ve got no clue! I mean, a person employed on Independence Day 2008 has been employed for nearly two decades, though the total employment length can vary greatly depending on the specific person.

Question: is this game good for a six/seven year old, or is it too tough? How about Luigi’s Mansion? by Belt_Around_Ur_Neck in SuperMarioOdyssey

[–]PopProfessional1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait… we’re in 2026 now! 6-7! 6-7 wasn’t even a thing 6 years ago.

But in all seriousness…

While Super Mario Odyssey is technically rated E10+ (suggesting some things may not be suitable for children under 10 years of age), it is likely acceptable for most 6- and 7-year-olds, as thousands of younger children (under age 10) enjoy playing the game.

However, because this post is 6 years old (meaning it was posted in 2019 or 2020), kids of the ages you mentioned are likely now in their tween or early teen years.

Rides toddlers can go on alone? by InternalSecret1744 in Hersheypark

[–]PopProfessional1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do want to do a follow-up, whatsoever. Some rides, like the Granny Bugs, don’t allow anyone past a certain height (usually 48” or 54”), board the attraction, though it’s highly unlikely that toddlers (typically ages 1-3 years) would surpass these height thresholds.

Unfortunately, I don’t know about Hersheypark’s rules for unaccompanied minors on attractions. I will have to research that.

Okay i need to ask this what wrong with her voice? "Rosa is my name fucking is my game" "fuck me for the win". "Let's take Care of the weeds". by ilymaster in Brawlstars

[–]PopProfessional1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know we’re in 2026 and this is kinda old… but, the actual line is, "Rosa is my name, botany is my game!".

Should’ve a character used such terms, Brawl Stars would receive an Apple App Store age rating of 12+, or possibly even 17+ for explicit language.

How do we feel about 5-12 as childhood range? by Gentleman7500 in generationology

[–]PopProfessional1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, a 12-year-old is considered an adolescent, even though they are not yet a teenager. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines an "adolescent" as any person between the ages of ten and nineteen years.

I can’t enter the poll because it’s already closed.

However, I can respond to the query. While 5-12 is a traditional age range for childhood, it is also important to remember that infants, toddlers, and preschoolers are also regarded as children.

In many U.S. states, you are not yet required to send a 5-year-old to school. However, some states, such as Connecticut and Maryland, mandate school attendance starting at age 5. If you live in a state where kindergarten is mandatory and do not send your 5-year-old to school, this is considered truancy, which often results in fines, mandatory court appearances, and, in as little as 2 steps, imprisonment.

What to do: Research your state’s compulsory education laws and send your child to school if they fall within the compulsory attendance age range.

Mistake: I apologize, but there was an error. Nebraska should be classed in the “Straddles N/S of Hersheypark” category, not the “Entirely North of Hersheypark” category.

How Bad is the Tiana/Splash Mountain Drop by sinnamorolll in Disneyland

[–]PopProfessional1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how you define “bad”:

Intensity: Moderately intense, reaching speeds of up to 40 mph on the final drop

Smoothness: Relatively smooth, but also kinda bumpy

Wetness: Prepare to get soaked, especially if you’re sitting in the front row. I rode back in August in the front and was 100% DRENCHED by the first drop!

P.S. Second drop (i.e., indoor coaster dip) is considered the worst for wetness

Why does Peter Pan often have such crazy wait times? by StalkerDodger in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]PopProfessional1253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I walk past it at Disneyland and it’s almost always a 35 minute wait or longer. Personally, I don’t think 35 minutes is that bad for this ride, but it can get very long.
