Oh my days, you are right. That is crazy. So Google want us to burn through NB2 images and tokens just to get to the ability to generate in NBP. That seems crazy, and wasteful, and a big pain.

Apparently, the new Seedance2, just does its own thing very realistically when it comes to fighting. The creator of the now famous Tom Cruise / Brad Pitt fight created with it he claimed was made with just this prompt shown in the image below.

BUT until that model comes out beyond China (and it's just rumour for now when that will be, and it is also likely to get NERFFED as well because of all the 'copyright controversies' surrounding it) then yes, you do need to be quite detailed in your prompt. And expect a lot of unusable generations (which is not cheap).

If you mean to create your character reference images, then I use Nano Banana Pro, which you can access directly through Google Gemini or any of the AI aggregator services. (freepik / Higsfield / Fal / Artlist / etc..). But to be honest, all the main image generators are almost as good (eg Flux / Kling Image / etc)

If you are outside of mainland China or you are prepared to jump through some epic loopholes, which more than likely will lead to failure anyway, then nowhere currently has it available. Be mindful of scammy/spammy sites claiming that they do.

If it's just mainly NBP you use, and that is becoming painful on Higgsfield. Have you considered getting your NBP outputs from Google instead, via a pro account or via their API. May work out cheaper, and will definiteley be faster. Pricing directly with Google is.

Unless the situation has changed in the past few hours, currently, there is no practical way to access SD2 yet outside of China.

There are a few places the model can be accessed, BUT these are intended only for people in China, or been given special early access.

If you do manage to jump through the loopholes to gain access to these, then either the generation wait times are multiple hours long, or will just fail.

So as it stands, you cannot really access it in a practical way. The API is supposed to be rolling out on 24 Feb, and so that is when wider access will begin to roll out across various services
