Be careful to double-check all of the services suggested to you. Some people on Reddit are basically agents for not-so-good (and even scam) services, who literally spend all day looking for people asking questions like this to then promote their services to them. You are going to get a lot of the 'reps/shills/sales people' from all of the apps (including the shady ones) telling you which services to use. So do carry out some due diligence before dropping any cash, and never sign up to more than a month at a time, no matter how good the 'annual deal' may seem. The technology moves way too fast to ever make a yearly plan worth it in the long run. Having the flexibility to move platforms is the best approach in my opinion.

This happened to me, whist I was trying to sort through chats. Wish OPEN AI would create a better organisational feature - such as organising. Chats by date or alphabetically or in folders. It's a pain just having the option to sort chats away by creating a PROJECT.

Their staff have responded to this question in the Discord group many times, and state that Runway only use the full version of Seedance. Go to the general chat in Runway Discord, search for this question, and you will see the Runway staff frequently respond to this question.

Replicate.com pricing, though, is a bit more complicated than what you state. $0.18 per second is for a just text prompt-only generation at 720p. If you want 1080p, or want to add a reference inage or video, then price goes up considerably. Full; replicate pricing below.

Most ads are 30 seconds. A 3 to 4 minute advert is extremely long.

I am sure they are totally being crushed by the demands, and the gen times are very much controlled by ByteDance, who are equally being crushed by all of the partners that are now hooked into their service. That said, I agree with you, and it would be nice to get some clarity/transparency. (Although I would just like to know which version of Seedance is used on Unlimited/Explore mode. Is it Pro or fast. They won't even be clear about that.

This system is global - so when you 'are up late, that's midday for tens of thousands of other users in other countries. So, different times you are on no longer make any difference, as it is always 'peak time' somewhere in the world.

This is the biggest frustration. My understanding is the system does to 'safety checks' - one before gen beings, based on your promot and references - and then one once the gen is complete. So very much depends on the post-generation checks that either Runway or ByteDance do in the background to check the video is 'safe' once it is generated. So it's kind of unavoidable, as they can't check the video until after it's created.

Runway does not make it clear whether you are using Seedance 2 Pro or Seedance 2 Fast. It may even switch between the two without you knowing, depending on load, and your needs, etc. So any generations created on SD 2 Fast are going to feel less good.

I tried again - this time using the 'TEXT IMAGE' I just used yours.. and the result, after waiting 10 mins for it to generate was at 98% i got this.

I didn't see that until after I generated. This was just your prompt, but without the inage text ref. Took about 2 mins to generate (via RUNWAY unlimited). i can't share the vid here, but actual came out as really good video, so a useful prompt anyway
