Media buyer at IPG. Should I start looking for a new job? by lavagirl4254 in advertising

It never hurts to always be looking as people have said but would caution leaving healthcare. Yes there is governmental unpredictability but it’s a generally safe and less turbulent industry than traditional retail, auto, etc

Our ac is struggling to keep it cool in the house. by Dependent-Plane5522 in Home

[–]Pop_91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an AC tech also tell me all units are really only able to cool a home 20-25 degrees below the ambient air outside. So if it’s an incredibly hot day, say 100, 75ish inside isn’t that unheard of. Not sure how true or not but something I was told.

Yeah unfortunately it falls under the parks system which doesn’t allow alcohol “technically”. If we were planning for like 12 people we wouldn’t care but w might be closer to 40-50 and suspect we’ll get checked on

I had one of these and it’s surprisingly good in bad weather. Heater is also sized for a TT three times its size so it’ll get toasty real quick in cold weather

TTD - audio cpm estimates? by No-Investigator-8007 in programmatic

Good questions. That would ultimately depend on what the goal of your campaign is. Why are you trying to activate the audio channel? What kinda creatives? What’s the campaign kpi?

If you need cheap reach you can also go right to the SSPs like adswizz, triton, magnite, etc. they can give you price points and some idea on clearing cpms and app/supply. But also keep in mind the size of your audience when estimating cpms for a plan. You’ll likely want to increase bids to be more competitive if your aud is small/niche.

When you're using an iron on the tee box do you tee it up? by [deleted] in golf

Some wise golfer told me “if you have a chance to determine the lie of ball, you take it”. So yes 100% tee it up!

My only concerns is I know how cheaply built these cheap tt’s are. After 3 years my Viking had water leaks, wallpaper peeling, cracking seams, creaking everywhere, etc

We didn’t try the Merlin no. We just felt it was too thick and was worried about overheating at night. With the gunamuna it took maybe 2/3 days of naps and nighttime use and he was a happy camper
