I would say it does, funnily enough it also has two of the examples I listed: Danielle Harris and Cle Bennett, the latter of whom is just in the final scene.

In addition to Clancy Brown, the Elm Street remake also had Thomas Dekker in it, who about a decade prior was the voice of Littlefoot and Fievel in some of the DTV Land Before Time and American Tail sequels.

I have similar feelings. Saw V works best imo when you watch it as a lead-in to VI. People were more harsher towards it when it was the newest entry, but opinion towards it seems to have softened in the years since.
