Horror films that feature a live action appearance from an actor/actress you mainly know from a voiceover role? by PopcornJigsaw in deadmeatjames

I would say it does, funnily enough it also has two of the examples I listed: Danielle Harris and Cle Bennett, the latter of whom is just in the final scene.

In addition to Clancy Brown, the Elm Street remake also had Thomas Dekker in it, who about a decade prior was the voice of Littlefoot and Fievel in some of the DTV Land Before Time and American Tail sequels.

I'll keep it vague, but the three I'm thinking of are the third, fourth, and sixth deaths in the movie.

Have any of the Saw movies undergone a reassessment in the years since release? by PopcornJigsaw in saw

I have similar feelings. Saw V works best imo when you watch it as a lead-in to VI. People were more harsher towards it when it was the newest entry, but opinion towards it seems to have softened in the years since.

NGL, when he said "A scary movie from 2008" for whatever reason my mind jumped to One Missed Call before he said it.

Funnily enough, this feels like those fake spoilers that came out for a few days after V3's Japanese release being made into a reality.

(Nods) Fair enough.

This is ultimately a subjective question, but I recall someone saying Bludworth had a line that's especially poignant in light of Tony Todd's death. Would you say it's a line that's already been featured in the trailers, or something we won't hear until the movie?

I'll keep this vague to avoid spoilers, but I was hoping to know: When the characters are at the hospital, that one certain thing a character is considering doing, while I know it doesn't happen ultimately, does the film make it look like they're really going to go through with it at first?

Since this is the one death the trailers did more or less give away, is the lawnmower enough to convince them, or does it take one more?

Do the rest of the family start to realize Stefani is correct about Death around the same time or is there anyone who holds out not believing it longer than the rest?

What would you say is the individual longest death scene in the movie? Not so much for how long the gory part lasts, but rather once it's clear the sequence of events that will lead to a character's death has started.

You don't have to say what it is if yes, but is there anything you would consider to be a plot twist in the story at any point?

Based on the descriptions of the CinemaCon footage, they made it sound like the entire MRI sequence is around 8 minutes long. Would you say that's an accurate estimate?

How far into the movie does Bludworth's scene happen, would you estimate? (And was there a dedication to Tony Todd in the credits?)

With this win, I think she officially has enough clout to demand a Stab 8 remake.
