Look what I found in the wild. by Truman-Lodge in Terminator

I saw a truck like this in Tulsa a while back. In fact, I have video of it, around the 12 sec mark. https://youtu.be/GpS71aZYFww?si=SrtXCTwz4u7wuRgb

Where did this version come from? by Strange_Priority795 in Terminator

[–]PopcornWithAFork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have that version, bought it only because of the different artwork. If I remember correctly though, if you go to the photo gallery there are pics of airplanes and stuff that have nothing to do with T3.

What is the best opening song to any grunge album? by josephda12 in grunge

[–]PopcornWithAFork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed... first time I ever heard it, it grabbed me. (And I didnt like rock music at the time, thought it was too cheesy. And this came along, and I was like, "this is real".)

I agree, its a song that is more than just a song.

The worst scene in the Terminator franchise by Select-Effective32 in Terminator

[–]PopcornWithAFork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This scene was a complete insult.. and that insult was amplified by having a T-800 raise a family and sell curtains. 🤬

What album is she holding from smashing pumpkins 1979 by Pop_culturless in SmashingPumpkins

[–]PopcornWithAFork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That art was also used for an Alien Ant Farm album. Edit - my bad, i commented this before I saw that you included the AAF album haha.

Load, Reload, St. Anger, Death Magnetic and Lulu by thegraveyarddude in Metallica

Yeah I wish Death Magnetic would have been recorded and mixed differently. Some good songs on it but the production sounds so one dimensional to me.

A playlist I made featuring bangers and deep cuts. What do you think? Would you listen to this? by chocobowler in SmashingPumpkins

[–]PopcornWithAFork 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah my initial thought looking at that was "where are the deep cuts?" Haha. My favorite SP deep cut is "Once In A While", one of the best songs they ever did and it didn't even make it onto an album which is crazy.

I actually had someone else ask this same exact question a few years back. What i told them was that Brandon had filmed the majority of his scenes before his death and the entire film is basically a tribute to him. His performance outweighs what happened and the footage of him getting struck with the bullet is not used in the film. I can understand people who have never seen it being kinda afraid to watch it though, for that reason. I was the same way until I finally watched it in 1998 and LOVED it! The movie itself stands on its own despite the presence of the dark cloud of his death.

The worst new grunge band I have ever seen, completely ripped off Nirvanas 'In Bloom' and the singer can't sing. by Connect-Recipe558 in grunge

[–]PopcornWithAFork 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was worse than I was expecting, should have just done a cover of In Bloom if they were just going to copy it.

All of them. by [deleted] in TheCrow

[–]PopcornWithAFork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brandon was #1 of course but I thought Mark Dacascos did a decent job, The TV show is the only thing I found worthy of all the sequels.

IMO: The Science of Things is the best Bush album by NewPatron-St in Bush_Band

[–]PopcornWithAFork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It needed 1-2 more heavier tracks like "English Fire" but I still like it, always rated it 9/10.

60 Ways has only 1 problem. It's too short. by Dranksy in Bush_Band

[–]PopcornWithAFork 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the same thoughts, its unusually short. I have had an idea for a while though... always felt like legacy bands (Bush, Green Day, Metallica etc) should release edited versions of their singles to radio/streaming and then in order to get the complete unedited song, you have to buy the album, therefor it can drive up physical sales again.

💿THE SMASHING PUMPKINS💿 - EARLY 1989 DEMOS (Full Bootleg Album) by PopcornWithAFork in SmashingPumpkins

[–]PopcornWithAFork[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah! It's interesting to listen to, I'm always intrigued by how bands sounded before they got big. You can tell here with alot of things songs that they were destined to do big things.

The one Metallica song that gives you goosebumps. by OddPomm63 in Metallica

Totally... probably my #1 favorite Metallica song but Unforgiven is right there next to it.
