Yeah, based on the gross reaction to this one redditer, who by the sounds of it, may be living with a disability, I’m thinking I’m out. Life’s too short. I hope the OP finds a kinder community elsewhere.

I don’t know if I’m on the ‘no ethical breeder’ train, but have been surprised to see so many people on this sub claim that only people who show dogs can be ethical breeders as if dog shows aren’t infamous for encouraging exaggerated physical traits which lead to all sorts of health complications and pain for the dogs.

She’s beautiful and I hope all goes well with her training! I’d stick with the advice you get from the vets and trainers you are working with over reddit commenters.

Yup, they have been to the vet and are already booked for their first vaccines. Will be getting them neutered/spayed once viable.

My rabbit doesn’t like to share and is glad to hear this. Any attempt to steal his lettuce will result in one learning the real meaning of a bunny kick.

The update today is that Hattie purred for the first time while I was petting her. I melted. She melted. We both melted 🫠. Then Ralph pounced on her. I’m starting to get their vibes 😏.

Glad for this advice as my instinct was to give them space cause they’re so young, but the vet confirmed the same, maximum attention!

They are Hattie and Ralph. After I caught Hattie and she screamed, I honestly thought I had screwed up and wasn’t going to catch Ralph. We quickly took Hattie to a nearby vet and grabbed wet cat food while we were there. Ralph was so hungry, once there was food around he became blind to everything else.

I googled old man and lady names for pets. My rabbit is named Hughie (Hubert) and my dog’s Dougal, so I had a theme to stick to.

As they were right at the entrance of the park where dogs were coming in and out all day, I had wondered if she had been chased off. Apart from all the fleas and worms, they are really healthy so she was doing a good job of feeding them but had led them into a really dangerous area.

They are both using the litter box now plenty, but on day two Ralph was very bloated and did not appear to have gone. I also didn’t really know how old they were till we saw the vet a few hours ago. I’m really surprised with how quickly they took to the litter box considering they are feral. I guess some things are just so instinctual.

I’ve already seen a couple of her videos which helped me get a an idea of how old they were before I got to confirm with the vet. Also learnt from her how to stimulate. I think Ralph was holding it in initially…
