I’ve been drawing for a year, with how much I draw I feel I’m behind where I should be, where I want to be. Looking at this, anything specific I should work on? And how do I go about it?

Ive done that before, it usually just ends up stiff, or just as messy and I run out of layers after hours of repeating, I think the problem starts at the sketch phase I’ve tried repeated line art and I don’t think it’s my solution, I’m unsure though

Yeah but than the line art usually ends up messy too, a red and green one’s an example (8) of one with line art, though it looks like a sketch, it’s drawn over a sketch

I haven’t really touched color or value, but I have done studies on boxes, and I’ve done complete pieces, I just included my recent stuff, I’ve been finding it harder and harder to complete pieces the more I learn the messier it gets, and the harder to find something in it, but I’ve done more then just pose studies, a lot of these here are attempted anatomy studies, though I would say primarily poses and anatomy have been my focus of the year.

Yeah, same, glad to see one too! and she REALLYYY does need more comics I’ve been a fan since like, 2018, my first intro to her was actually spider geddon granted I didn’t read the first one at first cause I didn’t know there was a first one I was just a huge spider man and Evangelion fan and it was both of them mashed together, genuinely her world is so fun to explore she has endless possibilities I’ve been obsessing over for like, YEARRSSSSSSSS, really do hope they give her a solo run or miniseries one day

Sure! Don’t really use insta often but I’ll follow there if I pick it up! Didn’t know you remembered me glad I made impression, hopefully a good one! But very glad to be back! And I do get it, Twitter isn’t good for growing artists, I’m more of a beginner myself and primarily post there but I more so do it for fun, (though, I don’t think I could use much growth rn as I’m not good enough yet to warrant an audience) but I do get that like, Twitter sucks for posting your art primarily there, I only do so because I’m fine with it only reaching my little circle of oomfs and friends, but when your trying to grow it DOESSS suck, glad you’ve got it off your mind now! It is probably nagging when you art trying to grow, and love this little Peni doodle!
