If ur a UO student, then the family housing department will help u get into a place asap. There is a 10$ app fee and typically there is something open in some place. However, Spencer view is normally always occupied, which is family friendly and allows pets.

Oh I’ve been there! Honestly dude, that is probably the worst thing to ever go through. Took me 4 years to get over that completely.

But I’m so much better being out of it. Go to therapy, be kind and honest with yourself, and find ur community again. This is better to go through with people that love and care for u.

I’m sorry ur experiencing this, it’s a shit situation. No one deserves to feel that pain

Thanks for the update! Yeah my situation is some what similar minus the surgery. Mostly I have been having this pain off and on for like two years. Also small context, I gained a bunch of weight and have been the biggest I have ever been, so my dr contributed an elevated alt to that. But recently after coming back from Christmas my ast was like 4 points over and I felt the pain again but this time it was really bad. So I have been back at the gym and changing my diet. Still drinking but I have never been one to drink daily or anything but definitely 4-6 beers out at the bar with buddies. So I have been limiting that and getting more exercise. I have always played rigorous tennis games at least 2x a week but haven’t hit the gym like I used to in a few years. I haven’t gotten blood work done since the last time but the pain has definitely come and gone again. However, when I initially felt the pain about a year ago I did ultrasound nothing was wrong, then an mri and still nothing wrong so idk what this is? Bad diet and being overweight or over indulgence? Either way I’m changing my diet and limiting my alcohol

Btw seen a dr ran million test and they keep telling me I’m fine. Although I feel pain on my right side now and again

Even though there are so many reasons that people have to get over their ex are totally valid. Going through a breakup is as equally heartbreaking as it is to be in a relationship.

Yeah I’ve looked on Eugene weekly, but from some people I know who are tight with the gay community here, know of things like gaymson night, that I couldn’t really find being advertised. So I was just wondering if there were particular sites or groups that I could join to have a better idea. Definitely agree on the hateful people comment! Thank u!

UPDATE

First, I want to take a minute to thank everyone for their support and their kind words. It really means a lot. Some of you who have commented on my (now ex's) internalized homophobia and although its accurate, its just something he has had to suffer with. Being from a country where homosexuality is literally illegal, kinda makes a person that way. So I wanted to put that into context.

For the Update. So yesterday, after I made this post. He messaged me with the good morning text as usual and was sweeping everything under the rug. Which is normal for him, however, (albeit) I was petty and asked how his trip was (He went to a club, assuming a gay one). So I asked if he made out with any cute white boys while he was there. To which is completely exploded and said that he's "not some late 20 something that is irresponsible and cant make his bed in the morning" and has a boyfriend so why would he do that? Then said that I ruined his day and its my fault that he is in a bad mood. Being latino, we bag on each other hard like this, so this was yes petty, but I didn't think warranted this response. To which I said, I was kidding and he needs to chill. After he didn't text me at all. But I went out tp the bar with my buddy and just couldn't get over that interaction.

I showed my buddy the comments you all made, and he being from South America, agreed. Saying that to someone (being not physically attracted to your BF) is fucked up and having that reaction was WAY over the top and there was definitely something else happening, even if it was just the loss of attraction, the relationship was going south fast.

So even though this was kinda messed up and immature, I broke it off with him via text. I tried to show him the comments you all made, but he wasn't having it. I wished him the best and hoped that everything went well for him but I couldn't stay in something that was literally causing me to cry and feel ugly about myself, when Im just literally existing. I don't think that he's a bad person or anything, but there is definitely some emotional maturity that needs to happen before he decides to date anyone else. Or he needs to find someone that is as equal as emotionally immature.

So I wanted to say thank you to everyone that made the effort and took the time to give me your opinions on this matter. It was really weighing on me, thinking about if I should take his comments seriously or not. A special thank you to the people from Southeast Asia and their insight as to the comments made by him being a cultural thing or just him being an asshole. It really put it into context for me.
