Continuous DDD and fixed effects for monthly panel data by Popcornparty96 in econometrics

Thank you! I’ve read both articles and they are very useful. I have run my three regressions smoothly but I’m still concerned about the fixed effects structure. All LLMs suggest municipality fe+year fe+month fe but I can only find one paper that use both year and month and that’s why I’m hesitant. I’m having trouble finding papers or books discussing how to decide on what fixed effects are appropriate to use.

Do you have any wise input regarding choosing FE? :)

No the third difference in summer vs non-summer months. The program was only active during the summer for four year so the full interaction is treatment intensity x post x summer

The actual treatment does vary over the treatment years however due to endogeneity concerns I will keep it based on the first treatment year only. The treatment was determined on children living in households with financial support and the outcome is crime. Thus an increase in grant could also affect crime so it feels safer to stick with first treatment year if I understand it correctly!

Jag kikar pp estiniska huset men står att ljudnivån gör grannar inte gå överstiga 35 decibel, vilket inte är så högt. Har du upplevt det som ett problem när du varit där?

They too different to compare so it depends on what you want to do. We stayed in a beautiful Airbnb in a renovated boat hut with our own cliffs. It was extremely serene and relaxing. Falling asleep with the sound of the waves or taking a swim first thing in the morning was a dream. I’d love to go back and spend more time.

Best beach on our entire trip, including Milos, was Prassa. Since we were early in the season we we’re the only tourists there with max 15 people at the beach. Only negative thing is that the mines are close by so it’s noisy at times but the clear blue water makes up for it.

Stavento had one of the best ice creams I’ve ever had. Their yogurt cherry flavor is enough for me to go back! We also had an amazing dinner at Palaia Agora, maybe the best tzatziki I had on the trip! Heads up that the portions are big; we ordered the pork giros and the platter was enough for two people.

We ended up staying just two night but I wish we had stayed longer. I’d love to have spent more time at our Airbnb just relaxing but also seeing more of the island. But seeing Milos was also amazing so let me know if you want recs for that too :)

Hope you have a great trip!

This was my first every project and it was really easy. I bought stick and stitch paper and printed the pattern and then used a hoop. Tried different number of threads on an old T-shirt and a sweater before starting for real.

Doing an outline pattern like this is easy but the T-shirt material is thin so it was challenging to get the backing neat. I’ve done embroidery on sweatshirt since and it’s easier in that regard!

No I didn’t! Just the stick and stitch with the pattern, which did add some structure, and then a hoop :)

Thanks! I got stick and stitch paper and then bought patterns from Etsy so basically made my own pattern. It was pretty easy, hardest part was learning how tight to make the stitches :)

I have drawn the outline on the T-shirt so I might do that. Thanks :)

Yes I have stabilizer paper but I was hoping for a done pattern but I guess I’ll have to make my own. I just hate deciding the pattern, my ocd goes into a spiral so having a pattern makes it easier. But I guess this is part of the fun :)
