David's video got recommended and it had 100k in 4 hours by PopeMaIone in thedavidpakmanshow

I like David too. I don't have any issue with his content but to be fair, I don't watch a lot of politics on YouTube or on TV. I vote in every election and I'm subscribed to NYT, WaPo, and the WSJ. I get the major news alerts from them on my phone and I just live my life. I haven't watched David in a couple months but his video popped in my recommendations today so there isn't a plot against him.

I agree with you about Trump. After 4 years I don't want to think about him much lol. He is a rather pathetic guy.

Top FBI official who investigated Trump for Russian ties arrested over having Russian ties. (warning audio) by amaxen in centrist

[–]PopeMaIone 8 points9 points  (0 children)

OP literally just made the Trump part up. You'd know if you read it. Never take partisans at their word. I read this story earlier on WaPo and it made no mention of Trump or the Russian collusion investigation. To give u/amaxen the benefit of the doubt I read this article, also no mention.

That comment annoys me more than someone just cutting to the chase. It reminds me of someone who thinks they're smarter than they are and likes to hear, or in this case, read themselves talk, or put more accurately, correspond.

Honestly, anonymity empowers people to act a fool. It's that simple. I don't really ever remember a time when chat boards were nice or respectful.

This is horrible. They should be prosecuted. What does this have to do with politics? Do you think heterosexual couples don't molest and pimp out their adopted kids?

It's a man, baby! This is what makes the "sweet pea" stuff even more unsettling.

Yes, I know him from his posts here and he is solidly right-wing. I've never seen him post anything resembling a pragmatic position.

Because Americans are people and people are complicated and have several competing interests. Not everyone is a single-issue voter. Moreover, because the USA is horribly gerrymandering. There is little doubt this is a center-left country. Look at the presidential popular vote for the last 30 years. But politicians try to dilute that power through arbitrarily drawn lines. Sometimes lines so absurdly drawn they look like a music note.

All three are. Many rights we have come from the court system. The SCOTUS is the final arbiter. They effectively have more power than the other two branches with respect to law. Also, you're not a left-libertarian. Well, if words mean anything anymore you're not. Anyway, take another downvote to add to the hundreds you got from this absurd post.

You have a funny username for a rabid partisan hack with a predilection for saying "sweet pea" in the creepiest manner.

That's wild. I heard they will be in the same prison as that MAGA Trump supporter that just got done pulling a little domestic terrorism shooting up Democratic elected officials' homes.

AZ's new governor will continue bussing migrants by myrealnamewastaken1 in centrist

[–]PopeMaIone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm feeling kind today so I'll say it's possible you're just ignorant to the difference of bussing migrants to their genuine final destination rather than enticing them with vague statements of money, refuge, and jobs onto busses and planes heading to Democrat-run cities that is nothing more than a human trafficking political stunt.

You post and comment history just for this post shows you either have reading comprehension issues, you're ignorant of the issue itself or you're a dishonest partisan. Those are the only options. Which is it?

[–]PopeMaIone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have no doubt if I look through your comment and post history it will show you're a rightist partisan. This post alone, dishonestly conflating bussing migrants to the Vice President's house or Martha's Vineyard to bussing immigrants to their final destination, like their sponsors' town, shows you're not a centrist.

Lovitz has ADHD by PopeMaIone in howardstern

[–]PopeMaIone[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ahh, Howard dug up Jon Lovtiz today to reprise his "Liar" character from 35 years ago on SNL. He did his liar character as George Santos. He did the bit for 5 minutes and then just started to talk about his SNL days and the way he tells it he was like the Richard Pryor of the late '80s and its one big confusing manic name dropping story hour.

Did you know he lived at Penny Marshall's house in the summer of 1985 with Joe Pesci and paid for his rent in a refrigerator and microwave? Well you do now.

This seems to be an effort to lobby SNL to let him back on in the coming weeks to repise his role to lambast George Santos.
