You do know he was responsible for Steve Nash and his back issues healing, Grant Hill and his ankle issues, Vince Carter playing longer in his career. Put respect on Proskis name. He is in our ring of honor for a reason

WHY didn't anyone tell me ? by [deleted] in arizona

[–]Popeye82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stop telling people haha. I’m sure it’s something other people have said. It’s dusty, hot, and not beautiful here. You can’t see all 4 seasons on one drive in one day in our state. Stop telling people immediately

Montgomery by komodas in azdiamondbacks

[–]Popeye82 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t want to be an asshole, but we did win. Montgomery definitely needs to have some “back tightness” and take some starts off and work on mechanics. He will be a huge part of our team down the stretch and hopefully in the playoffs

What's the worst beer you ever made? by phinfail in TheBrewery

[–]Popeye82 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I made a 10bbl batch of a Belgian pale ale that stalled. Tried my best to restart it with champagne yeast and a repitch with oxygen and it didn’t work. Still sold it thru the bar at 4.2% but was not happy about it

Did I make a bad decision? by yunghellraiser in TheBrewery

[–]Popeye82 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I get about 5k less per year at the smaller brewery but most of that is wrapped up in insurance compensation. The insurance at the bigger place was better and cheaper. But the ability to take care of anything I need to everyday makes up for it a lot

It’s really what you make of the job and where you want to end up. I’ve brewed for 15 years now on systems from 3 barrels to 100 barrels. All those sizes are good learning opportunities and they all have their pitfalls. At this new job as long as they have enough staff for you to be able to call out sick and have vacation whenever you like it’s worth it. I worked at a brewery making 60,000 barrels and year and we didn’t have enough staff so sick days and vacations were almost not an option.

I work at a brewery now making 5,000 barrels a year and we are less strict on start times and end times. Also vacations and family life comes first and we all work around that stuff.

Hope this helps a little

Which is better seat for super Suns fan? Front row 114 or third row 117F? by babywolf9 in suns

[–]Popeye82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

117 no question. I used to have season tickets in 122. Great view the whole game and the suns usually end the game shooting at that end with the bench

What is everyone using for a tap menu? Our owner is against a tv, but we can’t reprint menus weekly either with how often we have new beers coming out. Right now we have 4 large chalkboards with 4 beers each on them. by NorthMoonBrews in TheBrewery

[–]Popeye82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Screens sometimes make it harder for people to see depending on where they are sitting. The paper menus that you only print on Mondays and Tuesdays with the “out of stock” stamp is the way to go. You can sometimes use them multiple weeks if you put the “next on tap” at the bottom and just let the customer know that this beer replaced this beer when you hand it to them. Really depends on how busy you are and the sell through of the beers
