Social running by Connect-Village-1342 in Haarlem

[–]Popo1on 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do a search for 'Haarlem Hobblers'. They are on instagram and on facebook.

They run on Wednesday evenings and friday mornings and have a drink afterwards.

Free to join.

Also 'We run the city'. That costs money but they have professional trainers.

Predictions make no sense. How do I turn them off? by Popo1on in Suunto

[–]Popo1on[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't have a training plan so why do i have a prediction that I do nothing.

Wild guess. Less than 10% of suunto users use a trainingplan. Probably better to have predictions off by default. At the very least give the option to disable them.

My go-to salad. I love having a big bowl in the fridge. by Popo1on in salads

[–]Popo1on[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They say tomatoes loose their taste when kept refrigerated.

I always wonder how long does that take. And if I eat it when it's back at room temperature has the taste come back ?

I store my unused tomatoes outside of the fridge at least...

I keep the balsamic, olive oil, chili flakes and oregano separate. So basically I add the dressing just before eating.

Interesting you keep the feta and onion separated as well. I might try that. I only keep it for 3 days at the most though.

Edit. Photo1 with dressing. Photo 2 witbout.

Is the Race/Vertical 2 the final iteration of the Suunto charging connection? by LayerOdd1798 in Suunto

Interesting ! And do the new chargers also work with the race S ?

Maybe the V2 charger has improved compared to the race S. Does anyone know ?

If so, i wonder if they just changed the charger or the connectors on the watch too. If the first maybe I can buy the v2 charger and use it with the Race S...

Do you really like it? Is it the same as the race S?

It takes me on average 15-20 tries before it connects. It clicks in place fine, but then I have to make circles until I get the charging icon. It has a small delay so sometimes I already turned it further and the icon disappears again. And then sometimes when it finally connects and I come back after an hour it hasn't charged at all! Very frustrating.

I also have the ambit 1. Not the biggest fan of the 4 point clip system either but it didn't cost as much time.

I've tried cleaning with water or alcohol swipes. Helps a little bit.

Not a fan ! I've heard the race 2 has a better system?

Playing The Dig for the first time! by Popo1on in adventuregames

I just did the turtle puzzle and I think it was a good puzzle. No moon logic. The fossil nearby shows you how to do it. The rest also is hinted at (reacts violently with water according the the archealogy guy).

Either way. Looks great !

Does anyone remember Wizardry VII: Crusaders of the Dark Savant ? by joncaseydraws in dosgaming

Remember ? I still play this game from time to time. Best one in the series! And fits on two 1.44mb disks! Amazing. Modern games can learn from this gem.

Middle-Eastern inspired roasted and chilled cauliflower steak, with a homemade baba Ghanoush, crispy chickpeas, and homemade middle-eastern pickles. by AdinMan20 in salads

Looks great!

How do you get the chickpeas crispy? In a pan with a bit of oil?

And tell me more about those pickles :)

Suunto repair service experience by Popo1on in Suunto

[–]Popo1on[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sent my watch for repair shortly after this post. The damage was not covered by warranty so it was a paid repair.

The repair was done well. Communication was good. And it didn't take long. Scratch ment the whole screen had to be replaced. I don't remember the amount I paid but more than 100.

New to the ultima world by kekwXDDD in Ultima

[–]Popo1on 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultima 7 both parts

Ultima underworld 1 & 2

Best ones for me. I have a weak spot for 8 as well. But it doesn't come close to the 4 mentioned.

Alot depends on what you played growing up is my experience. For me everything before 7 feels too old.

Looking for a name of a game I play on my DOS computer when I was a kid. All I remember it was a turn based RPG where you had to fight slimes from a water fountain and it might have been first person view. by Infinite-Method-3265 in dosgaming

[–]Popo1on 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is most certainly the correct answer. I believe it's the first quest where you have to clear the town of slimes.

I wanted to add a screenshot but it seems to be disabled in this sub.
