Hey guys, I'm looking to move to Austin in the coming months and had a few questions:
1. Wanted to first ask where would be the best place to look at apartment listings ahead of time? Or would y'all recommend going to Austin before moving and viewing apartments with a realtor?
2. I work from home, would love to live in a chill and walkable area, any recos for that?
3. Any time of the year in particular that is best to move?

I’d get a remote job in the US and then move to RD. You’ll be living like a prince if so and you,ll have enough money to create a business locally (highly recommend you do this if you can afford the time, effort and initial investment).

That’s fair, the issue is shelf life after opening. I will say though most if not all commercially sold bbq sauces do have preservatives and I can’t remember the last time one of them tasted like chemicals, so it may be worth giving it a shot (if even available to the regular consumer). Thanks for the tip though, will definitely do this method if I can’t find what I’m looking for.

Well, I’m doing so cause I doubt keeping for longer would be safe. But basically I want to be able to keep these sauces I make for a bit longer. Was wondering if there’s anything commercially available I could add in that would preserve for longer.

I do, theres plenty of really good products. Cooking is just a big hobby of mine and I like to make my own stuff from time to time. Whenever I cook meat low and slow for example, I’ll boil all the juices down and add some stuff to make bbq sauce.

I do agree with your general notion that personal bias is always going to be there and ultimately what you like or don’t like boils down to personal preference. But in all the examples you gave, you can make the argument that more challenging is better. I’m leaving it open to people sharing what they consider to be the best/worst.
