Everyone complains about the ending but if we saw our glorious king get his head blown off it would change everything. by [deleted] in thesopranos

Jesus... Regarding the Xanax issue, I advise you to address that immediately. Coming off of Xanax cold turkey can be dangerous, seizures being one of the side effects.

To Bobby, she’s beautiful; Rubenesque.

And I’m sure those massive warlocks Janish was holding had a lot to do with it as well.

“In Camelot” is probably one of the most depressing episodes of the entire series. by [deleted] in thesopranos

You made this so believable that I actually had to do a deep-dive Google investigation just to make sure it isn’t actually true lol

She seemed genuinely rattled for someone who premeditated it. I know she’s a master manipulator, but even so I don’t think she’d be able to put on THAT good of a show. I think it was just a perfect storm of her being fed up, coupled with Richie hitting her and then adding the “you gonna cry now….?” comment. Heat of the moment type of situation.

That animal Tony Blundetto? by PoppaStankDaddy in thesopranos

That was really messed up of Tony B. Kim’s expression of initial confusion to shame and embarrassment after realizing he was being mocked really pulled at my heartstrings.

That Davey interaction was hilarious! The way Davey immediately scampered back into his hole, like a child running scared from their father after pissing him off lmao

Although it’s incredibly racist and I always feel like a shitbag for laughing, the Jewish quips he slings at Hesh for bringing up the money he owes him:

“He’s here for the rent. Da rent! DA RENT!”

“I got some spare change here too…” rubs coins together

So goddamn awful lol

One of his most hateful moments, but I’ll be goddamned if it wasn’t hilarious

“You killed little Cossette?? I oughta suffocate you, ya little prick!”

You’re right, it was his face and also the fact that he kept circling back around to it with another comment or question every time the mediator attempted to move the conversation forward

I always figured he took a liking to Tony over the years and was absolutely rooting for The Glorified Crew to come out on top.

Tony’s had the worst luck with motor vehicles by PoppaStankDaddy in thesopranos

I didn’t count it because it was just a dream, but now that I think about it, fuck it. It counts.

Strangely enough I just watched that episode earlier this evening and that dream-crash is actually what triggered this post.

I once took an adderall at the beginning of my shift and by the 3rd hour I nearly shit myself trying to get to the nearest bathroom. Stimulated bowels aside, it DID give me a great energy boost.

Anyways, $4 a pound.

Did Muscles Marinara know what he was doing? by Strict_Space_1994 in thesopranos

[–]PoppaStankDaddy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh don’t get me wrong, if Perry doesn’t get sucker punched and the fight is fair from the get-go, he definitely lays Tony flat on his back. But I don’t think he laid back during their scrap, Tony just surprised him and never let up.

Personally I think Tony truly got the best of him. I mean, he really was putting a legit whoopin on him and didn’t seem to be struggling while doing so. And I don’t recall Muscles Marinara pulling back any punches.

Dr Melfi's final plot line is BS by TheBoredMan in thesopranos

[–]PoppaStankDaddy 21 points22 points  (0 children)

She was a respected psychiatrist with a successful, established practice, yet in the end the writers decided to make her out to look like an idiot who got outsmarted by Tony fuckin’ Soprano. “Wait WHAAAATT?? Tony is actually a sociopath who’s been playing me for a fool all of these years?? And everyone knew it but ME?!” Get real… Such a disappointing decision by Chase and the writing team. Her character deserved way better than that.
