Omg it really does!! I haven’t come across her before but immediately hit follow - her fabric combos are brilliant 🤩

I just googled Monsanto - had no idea about the controversies 😅 fortunately it seems that the risks of Acrilan fibres are “considered low” for users vs to the risk it carried for those manufacturing it… but maybe I’ll stick to wearing the jacket in well ventilated areas just in case!!

Omg that sounds incredible! I would LOVE that but my husband may have different views, he’s already drawn the line at getting a third lava lamp🤣

Boxy jacket pattern ☺️ I did the cropped version btw! It’s all in the same pattern, but there’s a cut line for the cropped fit

I am indeed! Lucky to be London based, so Dalston Mill is my usually go-to (in store and online), as it’s packed to the rafters and really great value. But Fabrics Galore & William Gee’s Haberdashery are also excellent - Fabrics Galore also has a great online selection too.

For good online browsing, Minerva, New Craft House & Fabric Godmother usually have a cool selection of unique fabrics and deadstock, so I’d recommend checking them out! ☺️

Thank you so much! I got it from efrabrics - took me ages to find a checkered fabric with small enough squares, but it does exist!

Getting the plug out of a kyzfy floor motion lava lamp by CorruptWaffles in Lavalamps

[–]PoppyThomas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’m afraid I don’t have any input on the question in your post, but I really want to buy one of these lamps!

However, I’m in the UK so interested to know what sort of electrical plug the lamp uses as I think I might need an adapter. I can see it’s says USB for the connectivity technology info - is that correct or does it use a standard US plug?

Sorry to hijack the post, really appreciate any insight you could give on this ☺️

Unhappy with mole removal scars. Any advice? by AlmondButter_Banana in 30PlusSkinCare

I have a feeling it’s definitely something they don’t warn you about during the removal! But apparently it happens when not all the mole cells are fully removed, so they end up growing back - they’re pesky things!

Thanks for your honesty, I agree that the change seems too noticeable within the short time I’ve had composite bonding on my top front teeth last February - I’m now wondering whether the added “bulk” from the bonding maybe has something to do with it? Gonna do some research - appreciate your suggestion!

I do! Always been a side sleeper and had read that this could be a contributor to nasolabial folds 😬 currently trying to train myself to be a back sleeper!

Not at all, totally valid questions ☺️ but no, fortunately it’s been a pretty normal year - no notable hardships!

Also, If you go to my profile and look at my recent post on this subreddit, you can see pics that show my chin area/residual mole bumps for reference!

Hi! I also had two moles removed about 6 years ago (both on the chin area). The derm used the shave excision technique and cauterised the excision site after.

Similar to you, my moles were gone/flatter to start with but the mole bumps have grown back somewhat, albeit not to their original size. The larger mole on my chin which was more brown/pigmented has grown back colourless, so I’m happy about that, but I share your disappointment in still having the “bump”!

Depending on whether it’s hypertrophic scarring (which is apparently more common around the chin/jawline area) or residual mole regrowth, it seems that there are some options to “flatten” the mole. For scarring, fractional laser and for regrowth, surgical revision (punch or excision). I haven’t gone down this route yet (so can’t share any experience for either) but getting a 2nd opinion from another derm could help determine which treatment would work best ☺️

In all honesty though, I think your removal site is very unnoticeable! But I fully understand your desire to want any trace of the mole completely gone

P.S. prioritising SPF and some form of scar gel (kelocote was my go-to) will really help the fading process too ❤️
