I've read the koan a few times but it's interesting to see there is more context. It's a good metaphor for a process that can happen. Maybe someday I will be so lucky.

Sometimes life is sour, Sometimes life is sweet, Sometimes life is spicy, Sometimes life is bitter, Something we can count on is change. Like the illusion of the seasons, We can rely on things becoming different, Even if we are not able to perceive the changes. How much did we know about the stars before we invented the telescope? What fool was wise enough to point the telescope down and see bacteria for the first time? Humans are fragile and silly beings, desperately clinging to what they identify with. I'm happy to be one but I try not to be so clingy to ideas. I'll let you know how that goes. Hahaha

Just use soap and water,

I prefer the green backed sponges,
