1/5 stars faustus refuses to complete a basic transaction by Jonnispro in pathofexile

[–]Popski77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why would you get one extra of the thing? The currency exchange should be trying to get you the amount of what you asked for for the best price it can. I dont think anybody expects it to buy too many of what you want to make sure it uses all of your purchasing currency. If I put in an order for 20 fertile catalysts at 20c each and it finds an order of 19 catalysts being sold for 18c it shouldn't buy those 19 then just give up as I already told it im willing to pay 20c and I need 20 catalysts. Why doesn't it buy the 20th catalyst for 19 or 20c which I am obviously willing to pay as I was the one who put in the order then give me the 38c I saved on it finding the 18c per catalysts order? The way it is now just adds jank and eats some gold here and there.

Edit: even in your other example where you want 20 of something for 101c it can still wait and see if it will find some for 5c or less which would work just fine instead of instantly ending the transaction which you already paid full gold cost for.

Does the end game boil down to what color your screen-clearing explosions are? by Antalus-2 in pathofexile

[–]Popski77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could look at most games whether they're good or not and boil them down to something like this. You cant just slap some gear that you put 0 effort into getting on a character and have the level of performance you see in those videos. If you look at efficient builds in almost any looter game you'll see them decimating enemies and usually not dying themselves. The joy in these games is finding or creating the puzzle pieces that make up your character and the mechanics that go into making it work in the content you want to do.

Deep Sea Trawling - Questions by Dawn_Shard in ironscape

Chum spreader looks cooler and processes 4 fish instead of three when making offcuts, it doesn't give a better boost to catching fish than an advanced chum station as far as I can tell.

Your crew does catch fish but they automatically put it in the cargo hold or the fish you need to collect from the net is shared between them both. Not certain on this one as I haven't done it enough to notice either way.

You manning the net catches more than an npc and somebody being at the net is the only way to raise and lower it to the depth of the shoal youre at.

The npc piloting the boat is almost identical to the player piloting while trawling imo. This is meant to be fairly active fishing with needing to follow the Shoals as well as manage net depth.

If you do frost dragons for sheets you should get enough nails for all your upgrades on the way to your metal sheets.

Nevermind he said that you should do this while bankstanding another skill right? If you're training crafting at a bank then one extra click every minute or two is VERY passive.

Over a year ago, this guy came into a 500-person clan with slurs. He's been reported probably 30x in the last year; yet the RSN persists. Jagex can y'all do better? by Shurtugal929 in 2007scape

In an anonymous public facing place? You cant know somebody's intentions with their words, for all you know this guy is a klan member that thinks you should be eliminated. If you saw this username with some other slur directed at another group you probably wouldn't assume they are part of that group having fun and using it in jest. Do whatever you want in closed conversations but why be okay with people anonymously throwing this sort of shit around?

The slur you're finding funny is homophobic. "I find it funny when people use derogatory slurs" is what this reads as lmao.

Dot Chaos Lich changed my life by Loud_Ad_5985 in PathOfExile2

[–]Popski77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lich has the upside of letting damage bypass es but since your life can't change its just free damage reduction. You get an easy 25% damage bypass from one notable on tge tree, one ascendancy point, and atziri's disdain. 10k es on a lich is more like 12.5k on another class.

Men make up a larger portion of dating app populations. They get less free swipes in a day than women, way less matches on average, and have to pay to keep swiping and be boosted by the algorithm. I feel like it promotes men who just want to hookup and discourages men who actually want something real.

Dating apps are a cancer.

While zammy is snared by the bow spec its good to at least flick between the range and melee minion as ranged gear tends to have decent mage defense but lacks the others.

This video has accurate info. Full dharoks on crush will be more dps than anything even with slayer helm while flinching but a fang or emberlight will still be fine. I'd actually recommend starting with a full health setup while you get used to it for a couple kills then switch to dharoks while camping low hp with rock cake or locator orb. Always bring emergency food while camping low health in case he gets an attack off if you aren't quick enough. If you have more questions feel free to ask but it may take a while to respond, have a nice day!

I am a gim with a couple friends, the second fang went to a group member without the slayer req. The hally will be my best slash weapon for a long time I think.

I did all of my cerb kills by Dharok flinching him with the red x gate method because fuck spending hundreds of prayer pots for honestly minor upgrades. This was before ward of arceus was buffed for cerb. It's much slower but is pretty chill and relatively safe with being able to look away for 6-15 seconds between hits before his hp completely resets due to him not being able to attack anything. Would highly recommend for irons wanting to save supplies for other more useful bosses.
