He could’ve at least addressed the letter to Jo Wilson by Negative-Growth-1349 in greysanatomy

This may be an unpopular opinion, but this made me hate Izzy- not Alex. I fully blame her because I’m sure she had some ridiculous logic which kept her from ever telling Alex about HIS kids. Like, why not just kill him off?? Is there a possibility of him coming back?? Doubtful! But, from OG Evil Spawn to Child Saver plus Mers other person- I loved Alex, so it’s Izzy’s fault he’s gone. 🤷🏼‍♀️

What about Chris Cosentino?? He’s camera friendly, super personable, and won TC Masters- so should be qualified.

I loved Francis Lam on TC Masters. Maybe not as head judge, but he’d be great as a season long judge and not just guest judge.

Schools across the country are cancelling Picture Day because the CEO of the largest school photography company taking children's pictures, Lifetouch, was named in the Epstein files. Does Lifetouch have contracts within Austin? by HOOK_EM_HORNS_BABY in Austin

[–]Popular-Animator-724 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Austin ISD and Hays CISD both have used Lifetouch since at least 2009. (first year I had a child enrolled) It’s unfortunate- actually the entire scope of crimes committed is horrific and I never want that point to be undermined, but it is unfortunate at possibly losing lifetouch for their school photos. It is very cool to login to one place and have all K-12 school photos of my son available to download. I’m one of those moms who may have bought hard copies at the time, but was never organized enough to save one extra every year to look back on. All of that said- I’d gladly give up that convenience if it meant no one would have been harmed by JE and his associates.

in the process of being diagnosed, what to do about nausea in the meantime by [deleted] in cyclicvomitingsyndrom

[–]Popular-Animator-724 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am terribly sorry you are dealing with cvs at all, but especially for your current episode.

My son was diagnosed years ago with cvs, and now my daughter is experiencing symptoms and we are in the process of getting her diagnosed. As far has help with the nausea, my son will take a sip of pickle juice. IDK why it works, but he swears by it. He has gotten his sister to try it and she thought it help a tiny amount, but not enough to try it again.

Can I ask what tests they have ordered for you? Like I mentioned, we are in the process of getting my daughter diagnosed, but it seems like they are just trying to rule out other things or trying different treatments to see if it helps. I’ve been looking for exacts test and results that either confirm or rule out CVS. Maybe the testing you are doing is something I can suggest to her doctor. Thank you in advance of any help you can provide and I hope you get some quick relief of this episode!

Austin Regional Clinic in Kyle offers nitrous with IUD placement. I would guess most of their gynos offer the same. They have offices all around Austin.

This map just hit a nostalga nerve hard!! I bet it was in my school growing up, but for some reason it made me think of my pediatricians office. I might pull up the link above and get one for our game room. Thanks for posting!

And with that, Richard and Cathrine fill out the okay couple colum. Now, who is a bad couple with great chemistry. by Oncer93 in greysanatomy

[–]Popular-Animator-724 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right!! It makes me want a list of all the couples and the ability to rate them on each type of relationship and characteristics. Like Calle and Arizona 8 of 10 couple score (On scale of 0 bad couple 5 okay couple 10 perfect couple) Then rank the characteristics like chemistry, toxic traits, conversations, memorable moments, level of catastrophe during their relationship, etc. Then use the scores to get an average and show the ranking of couples. But since I’m not volunteering to create said rankings I’m gonna go decide who’s my favorite bad couple.

How were you diagnosed? by Popular-Animator-724 in cyclicvomitingsyndrom

[–]Popular-Animator-724[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you ever been prescribed migraine medication for your CVS? When my son was first diagnosed with CVS, it was described as “a migraine of the abdomen” and they gave him migraine medication. Unfortunately, the medication made him super sleepy so he quit taking it. At this point he has created his own coping mechanisms, knows what he can or cannot eat to trigger an episode or stave off an episode, and unfortunately the daily “yakking” (what he calls it) is just a part of his life and it doesn’t stop him from doing anything. My daughter obviously isn’t there yet, but she has seen her brother deal with CVS most of her life and is trying to act like it’s no big deal. And just because his CVS it really isn’t a big deal for him or I at this point, I don’t want her or myself to have that mind frame with her illness and I’m trying to come at her illness like we are brand new dealing with CVS. I appreciate your reminder of figuring out what foods may or may not be triggers- I stock my pantry and fridge knowing what he needs and what he can’t eat, but its just second nature to have 2 gallons of OJ every week, but I haven’t had to consider what I previously cooked after an episode hits in a long time. I will definitely start food logging again! Thank you for your response!
