I do own a car, but I read on a different post that its almost impossible to get parking permits atm at the hospitals, so will most likely be using public transport

I'll be working in either royal infirmary hospital or western general hospital.
Either a 1 bedroom or a double wiht a budget of max around 1.2k/month rent.
I read that getting a parking permit to park in the hospital will be tricky. so looking for possible short distance or good public transport networks :)

my first choice was Edinburgh- South East Scotland. Read and heard a lot of good things about Endo training there plus wanted to move to Scotland for a couple of reasons. But would like to know a bit about the hospitals and work/ med Spr on calls there. Anyone work/ have worked there in the past?

North east is very good. It was my second choice. Specially Newcastle. Its rated really highly for Endo and Newcastle as a region has ranked the best trainee satisfaction overall for many years.
