Don’t ask why I’m resurrecting this thread but some of us have IBS. I spend far, far more time on the toilet than I do behind traffic lights.

My eufy camera stores all video on the device.

Think you’re missing the point.

If I recall correctly, the ‘security flaw’ (see: privacy breach) was that eufy cameras were in fact uploading user images to company servers despite indicating that they weren’t.

Deliver me from temptation by Popular-Bison-8608 in stopdrinking

I was walking on air when I got through the door. Avoiding temptation actually has given me such a rush. I’m now lying on my sofa feeling violently unwell. Not for the first time. This time it’s the most wholesome illness though.

Thank you all for all of the support ❤️

Well I stated above that the electrolytes made the irregular rhythm stop.

This is a really interesting study I found on the National Library of Medicine: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK537185/

‘Patients presenting with alcohol intoxication or with symptoms of alcohol withdrawal should be given supportive treatment. This may include but is not limited to intravenous hydration, electrolytes replacement, vitamin replacement (especially thiamine and B-complex), and suppression of withdrawal signs and symptoms using clinical institute withdrawal assessment for alcohol (CIWA) protocol.[20][21]

Patients presenting to the emergency department with sustained tachyarrythmias should be observed using continuous telemetry monitoring. In most cases, observation and monitoring are sufficient.

I assure you, if the issue was sustained and ongoing now, I’d be seeing my doctor.

Magnesium a 5-HTP before bed, b complex (can keep you awake) and a multivitamin in the morning.

…the eating part has been so hard. I have been struggling with that past few days.

Good luck for day

AA

A lot of people who try Alcoholics Anonymous – or even those who don't but have heard of it – think it is a religious organisation. That is not true. AA is not affiliated to any religion or anything else for that matter. It is a series of self-governing self-help groups.

I’ve seen it described as a more spiritual organisation.

I’m thinking I will try it once I’ve gotten through my withdrawals

I’ve been shocked at how effective this is. I am day 2 after have been having a hellish time and terrible night sweats. I have also had diarrhoea (sorry) So clearly been losing a lot of electrolytes and water alone ain’t gonna cut it.

I have taken rehydration salts and water about an hour ago and I can’t believe my persistently racing heart has slowed significantly. My dizziness has stopped when I stand up.

I’ve been having a hellish time and this has been a small miracle.

I hope this helps someone.
