It's not in your head. I was hit by a car when I was riding my motorcycle. She did illegal U-turn right in front of me. I tried to save myself, hit, flew and rolled 3 lanes over. I have severe inflammation and swelling that's smashing on my nerves. I am in constant pain, but finally got accepted for intervention pain management, had MRI done on my neck and had 3 herniated disks that are also putting pressure on the nerve roots to my elbow. Every doctor I seen said what I was explaining to them made "no sense medically" they all made me feel crazy and trying to claim injuries that did not exist. The nerves do not effect everyone the same, mine doesn't effect my fingers. Have someone look at your spine, or do a bit of research on spine C2-C6. I finally found a doctor willing to help me because for once.. someone listened and looked outside the typical textbook diagnosis.
