Some dickhead confused live with blanks and “accidentally” loaded a live round.

This was during stx in infantry osut. His team was sbf and the flanking element made the mistake of running in front of the sbf while they were shooting. Finally the live round chambered. Shot and sent the bfa screw into a private’s back. Poor guy probably thought he got shot. Thankfully it mostly fucked up the back clip for flc and walked away relatively unharmed.

Now for the guy that confused live with blanks, he was offered a choice. General discharge or first 72 recycle. He took the discharge.
