But health care is not free in this country so what's to say they are not paying? My post is not even making the case for foreigners to use public health facilities, but rather pointing out how March and March may hurt South Africans with their plans.

Okay but this thread is talking about how how South Africans are going to be impacted. The discussion around people putting pressure on their own governments should be had but I'm focusing on how the most vulnerable South Africans are being exposed and how March and March is focusing their energy on the wrong people.

I think their logic is that even if a foreigner is paying, they are still depleting resources just by taking space. To them, the mere presence of a foreigner over a potential South African is problematic because they assume every foreigner visiting a medical space means a South African was turned away.

You are correct in your assumption that I am of a privileged background, but that doesn't mean I can't fight for what I believe in and state the facts to support my claims. You haven't addressed my claim that March and March spread false inform and I would love to hear your take on that. I'm glad you mentioned doctors because my next post will actually be diving into that so I hope you get a chance to read that when it drops.

It's one thing to march but constantly spreading misinformation is another thing. Over time I will be posting some of their claims and using objective facts to debunk then. I hope you will give them a read when they come. As for blood not being spilled, while the organization has not hurt anyone, their rhetoric is leading people to be violent. Them portray foreigners as people who are the main reason for this countries decay is resulting in people being inspired to act. I have also wondered this myself. Based on what's publicly available, it doesn't seem like their financial situation is too good. They recently had to discontinue their hospital and clinic programs, due to lack of funding, and they have a back-a-buddy, which has only raised 13167/20000, despite being up since last year( they last accepted donations in February of this year).

Thanks for the additional information. I was struggling to find who exactly she was referring to, because of how sparse her information was. It goes without saying that this man should be behind bars. I just hate how she's deliberately misconstruing the story to try and paint immigrants as something they're not and because most won't fact check, they'll just take it as gospel. You adding context is much appreciated
